Rob Folks is amazing!!! I walked in to Mid City after being at five other Subaru dealerships in the Chicagoland area. I knew exactly what I wanted but felt like I was gettin I walked in to Mid City after being at five other Subaru dealerships in the Chicagoland area. I knew exactly what I wanted but felt like I was getting the run around from those dealerships. On a whim, I went into Mid City and approached Rob. The dealership was rather busy that day, but he was more than willing to talk with me. He was also working with another customer and continued to go back and forth between us, not being pushy or making it seem like I was wasting his time. He understood what I was looking for and gave me a test drive in the legacy. He was very knowledgeable of the car and was able to answer all of my questions. I had some errands to run and had to leave but told him I was coming back in a few hours and would be purchasing the car. I had such a great experience with him I knew I wanted to buy my car from Mid City. When I went back, and towards the end of his shift, he helped negotiate a price I would be comfortable with, found my car at a local dealership and told me he would go get it. A few days later I came back in, traded in a vehicle and walked out with my Legacy. Rob spent time in the lot going over a few main features. That doesn't seem like a big deal, but when I was leaving at night, in the dark, with some inclement weather in Chicago, I greatly appreciated his time and thoughtfulness. I had some concerns about how I was handled during the financing process and emailed Rob the following morning. He set me up with a finance manager that could help me with those concerns. After that meeting, Rob then spent another hour going over every detail of my car with me. I will recommend Rob Folks to my friends and family. More

During the test drives (Subaru Legacy 2.0 & 3.6R; Forester XT) he was extremely knowledgable and was able to successfully demonstrate all of the features and answer my questions thoroughly and with purpose. What I mean is he was able to associate real life examples to where certain features would be good to have or could come in handy. That impressed me, and some of the examples I could really connect with! He was friendly and never made it feel like I was there for a sales interaction, like typical salesman would do. Would highly recommend working with Rob Folks at Mid City Subaru!!! More

The dealership was very busy, but Rob was determined to make sure we were treated like we were the only customers there. He was friendly without crowding us, patient without disappearing on us, knowledgable without being pushy or overselling us, and sincerely friendly and pleasant. Rob didn't over-promise a deal that couldn't be delivered upon once we were in negotiation, so the deal that we felt was fair was the actual deal we got. We've purchased a lot of cars in the past, so we were ready to have to do the whole "dance" again, but Rob kept it all up front and reasonable. After the purchase was complete, the time Rob took to share his knowledge of the car we purchased helped me feel prepared to drive the car off the lot onto the highway at night in rain. Seems like a small thing, until you can't find the defrosters while driving in traffic on 90/94. Rob's follow-through has also been excellent. And he's such a nice guy, that having him check in after the sale has been a pleasure. I'm so glad we were able to work with Rob, and I'd be comfortable sending my family and friends to work with him. Thanks, Rob! More

Awesome I love my Subaru and trust few with it, the staff at Mid City has done that. Mostly because of Jessica Bahena she explains everything to me and is I love my Subaru and trust few with it, the staff at Mid City has done that. 100% Would Recommend My fiance and I first came into Mid-City Subaru a couple months ago wanting to peruse the Outbacks and Foresters. We were approached by Jonathan Arias and were very pleased with his overall demeanor and attitude towards the sometimes stressful process of purchasing a vehicle. He wasn't your 'typical salesman' trying to pressure us into buying something right away. We went off with some valuable information and started discussing. Fast forward to the past week. Jonathan had to go out of town but was kind enough to set us up with Rob Folks. We met with Rob and were extremely happy with the substitution. Both Jonathan and Rob are OUR kinds of salesmen. No pressure, understanding of our concerns, and not trying to push us for something we may not need/want. Rob was able to locate the Outback we wanted, color, interior, and trim level at another dealer in the area. A really great thing about Mid-City is that they will do everything to get you into the exact car you're looking for. He even drove out one of their cars and traded that one for ours and drove it back. We saw the car, traded in ours, and even got a better financing deal than we originally came with!
