With one exception the only car we've owned since 1972 has been Volvo. With this car, whenever we have the car serviced, there always seem to be another problem that is found. In this case it turned out to be an oil leak. We've never had an oil problem in almost 50 years of Volvo ownership, even with some of the cars having being used for more than 150,000 miles. Our current car has only 75,000 miles of use. It makes us have second thoughts about buying a Volvo again - lower quality and very expensive repairs. More

Radio, hands-free calls, and navigation stopped working when our Volvo on-call subscription expired. Service said the only way to repair was to replace a faulty tuner. The $800 "tuner" they installed was actually only for Sirus radio, which we have never and will never use.
