Said I needed $2200 repair that we then checked into with another dealer- no such repair needed. When I told the service person I was going to check into it because we had just had the car inspected 30 days another dealer- no such repair needed. When I told the service person I was going to check into it because we had just had the car inspected 30 days before that, he said” we don’t want anyone to get in trouble so maybe don’t say anything to the inspection station”. Since inspection stations now video tape all inspections as proof of checking everything- it was easy to disprove the dealership claim of needed service.dealership Sent video to me to prove part needed to be replaced- video was service manager pointing at the part- no actual evidence shown. So sad, taking advantage of people that believe you to be honest. More
