I really had concerns about buying a diesel but I wanted the power and pick up that it offered. Tony spent a lot of time explaining the benefits, letting me test drive to feel the power differences and generally helping me to understand the pros and cons. He sold me the diesel through his persistently yet patient reasoning. Tony Cheung is clearly passionate about the brands the dealership carries and for driving BMW's in general. I think that his personal interest and connection with these cars, makes him more empathetic towards other BMW drivers and able to articulate what makes the vehicles extra "special." We came to Bert Smith because of our friendship with Dan Brandano in Pre-Ownwed Sales and the friendliness of the staff when my wife and I stopped by to look at cars and "tire kick". Upon arrival at the dealership we were immediately given the keys to test drive the 320i that we were interested in. When we returned from our test drive David Craig offered us a drink and answered all of our questions. Then when it came to talking numbers we made it clear what our desired payments needed to be and David was able to make it happen for us. There was no uncomfortable "haggling" or games like we had experienced at other dealerships in the past. While David was making it happen, William checked on us regularly to make sure we were being well taken care of. A lot of businesses claim to treat you like family but these guys actually do. Once we agreed to lease our new BMW we proceeded to the finance department where we worked with Anthony Capasso. Again, it was a much more pleasant experience than we had ever had in the past at other dealerships. Anthony was very professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with.
