Money offered for may trade-in was fair and the out-the-door price on 2017 GTI was unmatchable (tried three other dealers in the process). Highly recommend this dealership. More

The Dealership lies and does not support their warranties. In March I purchased 2014 VW convertible for my wife's birthday.. A real beauty! Wife loves it! When I took it in for serviced today at Burt Smith's dealership. To my disappointment the $1800 insurance policy I purchased did not cover the things the salesmen told me were covered. Misrepresenting warranty information to a customer hurts the sales department and the dealership reputation.. Bert Smith should be the last dealership that anyone would buy a car from. They sold us warranties on the tires and wheels, for dents and dings, and the interior. When the car was serviced today I found out that nothing except a tire was covered. Beware, they have absolutely NO interest in servicing your car! Go elsewhere! This is NOT the first time I have been treated poorly at Bert Smith VW. More

However, I wasn't really impressed with the way i was treated by my neighborhood dealer, they weren't bad just indifferent. So, i drove 21 miles in traffic i hate to check out Bert Smith. I met Tony Kritikos. Told him what I was trying to do. He didn't try to force me to his program. After a little bit of time I went back and put a deposit and ordered a car. I was under some time constraints due to timed withdrawals for some retirement accounts. They actually waited for a month after the car arrived from the factory (most dealers would have been on the phone pressuring me to come in early etc). I may have paid more, but that's because I made the deal, not them. For me price is not the most important item it's how the the staff treats me. More
