First of all I applied online for a Chevy Impala I received a phone call the next day from somebody from sales saying I was approved for the Chevy and they still have it on the lot and for me to come received a phone call the next day from somebody from sales saying I was approved for the Chevy and they still have it on the lot and for me to come in. So about a week later I went into the dealership and I sat down with A.J and went over everything talked for awhile and he said ok meet me outside I'm going to run and grab the car so I was standing outside waitting for him to come around with the car and he whipped around the corner with a 2006 Dodge Stratus and said here it is. I explained this is not the car I applied and was approved for and what we spoke abouy. He then told me this is the vehicle that you can get this car is the car we have right now to help people repair their credit and this is the only vehicle we have that fits your credit. You keep it and in two years you can trade it in for a brand new car. The car was in an accident the right front fender was dented in and rusted where the paint was chipped and the was scratches going down the passenger door from the accident. I figured well the situation I'm in right now I need a car really bad and I could just have that fixed a couple months down the road whatever. So I took it for a test drive and I really liked it it drive very nice. So anyways we did all the paperwork and u was told I could come back in a week to pick it up. So I got the car and went back a week later for the inspection. They took my car in the garage and I was left standing outside waiting for my car while all the employees were out in the parking lot checking out an antique car somebody came in with I was sitting outside for an hour waiting for them to put a sticker on my car. After that I was glad I didn't have to deal with them anymore. So four months later I called into the dealership because I was broken down in a parking lot on Boston Rd I was asked how long I had the car and I told them four months then I was told well your over the 30 day dealership warranty so you could just have it towed here and we could do the repairs but you have to pay for it. So instead I had it towed to a Shop next to my house and I was told that the timing belt broke and caused something in the motor to collide with something else. I was also told the belt was so bad and it had never been changed and it should have been changed at 100k miles not only on my car but all cars. Well I got my car with 106k miles on it. And the belt that was on the car was the original belt from when the car was built . So that's my experience I had with Bertera Chevrolet. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. More
I chose to shop at Bertera because of their internet advertised pricing, and their wide selection of 1-owner Chevrolets. Tammy was a terrific salesperson. She's upbeat, helpful, and knowledgeable. I went to Bertera due to the wide variety of vehicles I went to Bertera due to the wide variety of vehicles they have on their lot and having dealt with them in the past. The first visit wasn't that pleasant and wanted to give them another chance. Upon walking in the door the internet sales person had Nicholas take care of my husband and I. Nicholas was very friendly and out going. He had us look at a couple of vehicles before looking at the one we went there to inquire about. We ended up buying that vehicle. We had two minor issues with it and both were addressed that day upon returning to the dealership. Hopefully there won't be any other issues or problems with the vehicle and if there are, they get handled the same way. I would recommend Bertera and espically Nicholas Constanza to assist you with the purchasing of a vehicle. More
I purchased my 2010 Nissan Altima earlier this month, and absolutely love it! My saleswoman Tammy was AWESOME, and made things go smoothly. I really liked the sales service, Eric my salesman really took alot of time explaining the features of the diffrent cars I test drove and did not feel bothered by any questions I asked or the lengh of time i took alot of time explaining the features of the diffrent cars I test drove and did not feel bothered by any questions I asked or the lengh of time it took. It was time to trade in my 10 year old SUV so I have been searching Bertera's web site,as I have bought my last 2 new cars there, online as well. I took a ride over and when I arrived I was greeted by Nichol searching Bertera's web site,as I have bought my last 2 new cars there, online as well. I took a ride over and when I arrived I was greeted by Nicholas. He asked me what he could do for me so I told him about the SUVs on the web site I wanted to look at. Unfortunately, the one I had my heart set on was sold. I was ready to leave before I got the sales pitch but guess what? It never happened. Nick was so personable and treated me like I was at the right place to find the type of car I wanted. In my wildest dreams I would never have wanted the car I bought but once I drove it the deal was done. No haggling, no pushyness whatsoever. So, I decided, on a wimp, to go over on a terrible rainy night, 12-7-11, and got an awesome Used car that is better than both of the 2 new cars I had bought in the past. This vehicle has every bell and whistle I could only dream about. Believe me, I am not an easy customer to please but Nicholas did it without trying. He is truly the type of man I would love to deal with next time I am in the market for a car. Merry Christmas to Nick, Bertera Management and all of you who may need to find the car of your dreams. I drove over a hundred miles to come for the deals that I saw online for Bertera Chevy! Their inventory is huge and all of the cars are super clean. I was looking for a car similar to my previous Pontiac G6 saw online for Bertera Chevy! Their inventory is huge and all of the cars are super clean. I was looking for a car similar to my previous Pontiac G6 GT and wound up being convinced to purchase a year old Chevy Malibu. To say the car is amazing would be an understatement. I worked with Nick Costanza and he was an amazing salesman and overall just a great dude! He wasn't the annoying cliche sales rep who is just trying to sell you anything just to make a sale. He was very practical, honest and down to earth. I have already recommended this place to all of my friends/family and will continue to do so! Take care guys and thanks again! Overall, my experience with this dealer was disappointing. I came in looking for a Trailblazer SS. Since Bertera had the only one within a 2 hour drive, I decided to come in and test drive it. disappointing. I came in looking for a Trailblazer SS. Since Bertera had the only one within a 2 hour drive, I decided to come in and test drive it. My initial experience was good. RJ was helpful during the test drive and willing to deal with me when it came to the price. I purchased the SUV that night at a fair price. I wasn't a bargain, but fair to both parties. I walked away that night satisfied with my purchase. I was very disappointed when it came to delivery of the SUV. We had arranged for several issues to be fixed on the SUV before delivery. Initially, they said it would take a week. However, they ended up taking two weeks. I was very flexible and told them to take their time since I wanted all the issues to be fixed right. They fixed most of the things I had asked for (dent in the door and broken rear 'bow-tie') except two: 1. The passenger door window had loose/uneven molding between the glass and door. There was almost a half an inch gap between the molding and glass. Properly installed, the molding should touch the glass. The problem is, at high speed, the window leaks air. When I came back two weeks later for delivery, I couldn't believe that all they did was glue back the molding! It still leaked air, and contained the half an inch gap between the molding and window. I was expecting them to remove the molding and fix whatever it was causing the gap, not just put some crazy-glue on it! I could have done that at home! 2. Second, they delivered the SUV without cleaning tar off the rims or buffing out the scratches on the hood and back bumper. We had agreed during purchase (in writing) that they would fix these issues. They didn't even try to addresses these. At pick-up I decided these issues were not worth waiting another couple of weeks, so I took the SUV and forgot about it. One other part of the delivery I was unimpressed with was that they they didn't even wash the outside of the SUV or clean the inside! There were gum wrappers on the floor! Poor attention to detail. The real disappointment came a few weeks later, when RJ called me to see if I was happy with the SUV. I told him I noticed the spare tire tools were all missing (jack, wrench, etc.), and I would like for them to be replaced. He said he'd ask his manager and get back to me. He never called me back after a week, so I called him and left a message. Again, he ignored it. After calling every couple of days for a couple of weeks to follow up and leaving a message, I gave up. He was ignoring me. Once again, I cut my losses and forgot about it. Twice, RJ made me a promise, and twice I was disappointed. I would not return to this dealership. They are fair in pricing, but once they get your money, they forget the details. Who knows what troubles Bertera would have given me if I had any mechanical problems! I don't trust their integrity.
