I was warned by my car dealer who I have been purchasing my vehicles from for 20 plus years that this is a SCAM and guess what it is!!! Despite my car dealers warning and research of Bertera Chevy, who already had numerous complaints already about their tactics, I decided to still perused the deal. We expressed our concerns of course from the get go about the scam and bait and switch accusations. We were assured that they do not BAIT & SWITCH and will not SCAM us. THEY LIED!!!!!! We spent nearly two weeks of back and forth with the sales department trying to get the final price on the vehicle we wanted to purchase as well as what we would be getting for trade. After email and phone confirmations made by the sales department, we decided to take the 6 hour trip to purchase the vehicle. They offered us $5,000 less than what we had been promised for our trade!!!! A six-hour trip, a missed soccer game, wasted gas, unpaid time off from work, and added mileage on our vehicle for LIES!!!!!! No apologizes from the dealership just excuses! Terrible phone manners from sales manager Jody who told me she would not help me to try and straighten the issue out because I was rude!? So not only does this dealership scam you, but they also try and make you feel like you are the one in the wrong. STEER CLEAR OF THESE SHISTERS! BAIT & SWITCH!!! SCAMS! Bait and switch Waste of time, bait and switch. I called and asked if the advertised price was the price of the vehicle and if I go there can I buy it for that price, Waste of time, bait and switch. An hour and a half go by and I was never given a price , just run around. I ask Jacob for my price because I have to go and he says, we do business face to face and he can't call me with my price. After reading all the reviews all over the internet, now I know. Stay away! More

Over a year and wont refund I have been trying to reverse a warranty on a vehicle that I had purchased here. I sold the vehicle in Feb of 2018. In May, I started the process of warranty reversal. Or at least I thought I was going to. I have been in in person to get the warranty reversed, only to get told that the fiance manager was not available and to leave my contact information. Guess what, no call back. I have left messages on the General Manager's voicemail... shockingly , no response. I feel that my only recourse is to now involve the BBB and possibly the A.G.'s office. Sorry but not sorry. That was about $2000 that I was entitled to get refunded for selling the vehicle and now might end up loosing due to the time factor. More
Horrible sales tactics I just want to start by saying that my salesman Jason was a great guy. This review is not a reflection on him, but more my experience with the dealership overall. I own 5 vehicles and buy/sell/trade one of them every 6-12 months. Ive purchased vehicles all the way from Jeeps to Porsches. In all my transactions, I’ve never had an experience as disappointing and just plain deceitful as I did with Bertera Chevrolet. Bertera had a Jeep Grand Cherokee that I was interested in as an additional vehicle for an au Pair that I have living with us. I saw the car on both cars.com and CarGurus listed for $19,800, it had been sitting on the lot for 6 months or so. I called the dealer to make sure they still had it available so that I could avoid making the 2 hour drive down if it was already under agreement. Salesman Mike told me “great news, it’s available”. I told them I would head down but didn’t have much time, so please have the car ready at 12:30. I prefer not to waste my time or theirs. I get to the dealership and mike is busy, so I waited about half an hr, so I opt to work with another salesman, Jason. Great guy, we started with some initial documentation. He took my info, asked what vehicle I was interested in asked how would I purchase if we reached an agreement (cash, finance, down payment etc). I told them I was ready to make a deal happen that day and I was willing to pay cash or finance if it made the deal go smoother. He finds the vehicle, pulls it around front and we take it for a test drive. After the test drive I let him know that I liked the vehicle but it needed a few things, tires would have to be replaced soon and the brakes I could tell the rotors needed to be replaced. Jason went to talk to his manager and comes out with an initial offer off almost $22,000!! Yes, more than $2,000 over the initial asking price of the vehicle. I asked how we could be starting that high. He let me know that there’s a $2,150 additional charge over the price listed online because the price listed online is the wholesale price. I said that I didn’t see that anywhere in either listing. He informed me that if I clicked through to their website directly, I would have seen it. So at this point, even though I’m a cash buyer they still wouldn’t honor the wholesale price but wanted to “work with me”. Never in all my vehicles have I dealt with a joke sales tactic like this. After a short back and forth I could tell this wasn’t going to work and left the dealership to drive another 2 hrs home. Wasted 5-6 hrs of my day with these guys. The irony of the whole thing is they have this joker Brian Yarrows picture on every listing picture with the quote “buying a car doesn’t have to be so complicated”.. yet they play these games which gives them an average of 3 stars for a dealer rating. Wish I read their other reviews earlier, I wouldn’t have wasted my time. More
