I got the car serviced as per their terms and when I was due for the tire change. they told me that only $600.00 is what you are elgibile for and the Tires price was something like 968.00. I ended up paying extra for tires in addition to the mounting and alignment charges. At the time you purchase the car, It was never written that you are eligible for only $600.00 (max). Beware. I worked with Antony in the Service department and let him know that it was not right. He did not bother to address and said these are the terms and conditions. I am looking to buy another subaru for my child. I will definitely not go here as everything is hidden and the truth is not spoken upfront. More

After many texts and finally a phone conversation, one of their sales managers, Lucius, and I agreed on a sale price on a 2019 Subaru Forester and trade-in value on my vehicle of which I gave them a deposit over the phone. I asked Lucius to follow-up with a text or email confirming the agreed sale price and trade-in value of which I did not receive. The next day I received a text from Lucius who stated management did not agree on the trade-in price. Typical bad car sales experience. More

Be aware of the finance department!!! I verbally agreed with the finance department to pay 5% of interest rate on the loan. I was initially told that i was going to pay 8 % which i disagre I verbally agreed with the finance department to pay 5% of interest rate on the loan. I was initially told that i was going to pay 8 % which i disagreed. I have a credit score of 800 and put down 35% deposit for the car. After signing all the paper work and went home with the car, I went through all the paper work and realized that i was charged 6.09 % of interest rate instead of 5% as initially agreed. I was also expecting to receive 2 keys for the car instead i was given only one and was told that i need to order another key and pay more than $300 for it. The two front tires were in bad shape and i was expecting that they will replace them. They did not. I will have to buy two tires in the next few days. MY advice to everyone who is planing on dealing with this dealership: Never trust what they tell you verbally. Take your time and read all the paper work before signing them and don't let them distract you with nonsense stories. Make also sure that your car come with at least 2 keys instead of one. More
2019 series grey wrx First off I'm amazed at what happened. I stopped here to look at a series grey wrx 2019 and an sti. Whe. I came in I met tracy, who I liked (*****) s First off I'm amazed at what happened. I stopped here to look at a series grey wrx 2019 and an sti. Whe. I came in I met tracy, who I liked (*****) stars. But unfortunately she could not be my sales person, I asked nicely 3 times to work with tracy. I explained that I am a disabled navy veteran, and have social and personal anxiety problems, tracy was nice and talked calmly. She said Jose was my salesperson, Jose is what you think of when you of the. Classic car salesman. Maybe a nice guy on the street. I asked jose to to test drive the wrx and an sti many times. We drove the wrx it was nice i liked it, but i wanted to compare. We don't want to put miles on sti's if I'm not going g to buy it??? I asked politely to test drive two cars. For the amount I'm paying I would have done the sti. I talked to tracy put she couldn't help. Then when I said I'd buy the wrx. Jose says there simonizing it right now(750). I said I don't want that, Jose said he would take care of it. On to the finance office and Sherrie. We discussed the simonize 3x and told her jose wasn't going to charge for it, she sent us out to look at service with car it looked good. Came back and she wouldn't delete it. I could live with my warranties I purchased which I know there making money on. I would never written this but for this ridiculous 750.00 simonize treatment. So I get there subaru dealer review, which states no should have mentioned this survey at the dealer. Jose specifically says I'm getting a great car, so give him a good rating, literally walked thru service about 30sec because they will ask about it. Never went over car features nothing. So a little while after the review Oneal calls to ask how can I make this better. I said refund my 750. Which I was told to my face by jose that he would fix it? Oniel says I cant turn back the deal, no you won't turn back the deal. I said it was mostly the 750. Shocking we can't roll back the deal...I asked how he was going to make it better...Nothing 750 is not going to break this subaru dealer. I just had back surgery and I will go up to the next level. Because there was no intention to make anything better. I'm a veteran and when someone says there going to take care of it, you trust them. Os2 Alvah c Thompson disabled combat vet. More
Missing a standard part and dishonest marketing If you are an in-experienced car buyer like me and looking for a trustworthy dealer, I would say AVOID BERTERA SUBARU AT ALL COST. Apologize for the If you are an in-experienced car buyer like me and looking for a trustworthy dealer, I would say AVOID BERTERA SUBARU AT ALL COST. Apologize for the detailed review, but I really hope this helps someone: We decide to go car shopping and decided to check out Subaru Forrester. I get online quotes from various dealers and Bertera of Hartford, offered me the lowest quote. CATCH: I didnt realize until later that there was an additional Dealer charge of 500+ $. This is over the $900+ destination charge which was again not mentioned- but I guess that is standard. I test drove Forester and we liked it. They didnt have the trim or color we wanted. But the sales person mentioned that she could locate that for me for a deposit of 1000$. She said the process usually takes around a week. As part of the process, they also ran my credit and we locked down on a price. On the hindsight- this was the TRAP. Now, my money is locked down there and also they ran my credit. After a week and still no info I started calling them and they said they were still on the look out. This is when I started checking the inventory of other Subaru dealerships and I found they had the color and trim in the dealership right across the street from where I live. I called up Bertera about this when I was told that they had been finally able to locate my car and was driving it down to the dealership. I scheduled an appointment to make the purchase. When we went to the dealership we were very happy to see the Forester. When we inspected the vehicle, everything looked perfect, till I checked the mileage on the car and it showed 400 miles!! I was shocked, but then I was told that is because they had to drive it down. She was vague about where they drove it from- mentioned MA. I saw Milford, CT on the keyfob, but the salesperson mentioned that it could probably be where the keyfob was made. I moved forward with making the deposit and signing up for the car and was very thankful and appreciative that they got me the car we wanted. Later when I got home, I saw the dealer paper in the car and realized they got the car from Milford, which is around 50 miles from the dealership. So we now realize that I ended up getting a DEMO car that had been test driven all around for the prize of a brand new vehicle. DISHONEST. That is not all. I had initially mentioned to them that I am not interested in purchasing any additional accessories and the salesperson had mentioned that she'll make sure they'll take away any accessories if they could so that I didnt have to pay extra. When I had inspected the car at the dealership I realized it was missing the cargo area cover. I thought it was an additional accessory that I had to pay for so didnt give it much thought. But when I got home and checked the brochure I realized that it comes standard as part of my trim (and 3 trims lower). I have been following up with the dealership for the past two days and havent heard back from them yet. I definitely think I could have avoided the whole situation described above if I had enough experience and had not trusted Bertera like I did. I really hope this helps someone who is shopping for cars and checking the reviews on this dealership. I definitely believe there are other Subaru dealership out here that have build their business on honesty and trust of their customers Me, my extended family, my friends and coworkers now know where we shouldn't be going for buying cars and doing their service.
