I started this purchase online. I went to GMC.com and created my dream SUV just to see how far I would have to go to get it. I submitted my information to be contacted and honestly assumed I would get a generic email, or 30 rather as I have in the past when inquiring online. Within 10 minutes max I GOT A CALL, NOT AN EMAIL from Michael Thomas, a sales consultant. I cannot stand most car salesman, but I sincerely felt that is not was I was working with in working with Michael. Sales CONSULTANT indeed.
Not only did I get a call in just a few minutes, but it turns out Berthod had not just one, but 2 Yukons almost identical to my specifications. So, after we briefly spoke, I went over on lunch and Michael had them both ready to look at and right up front. After looking at both, and test driving my soon to be forever SUV, I had to think on it.
Aside from the delight of finding my dream SUV, Michael did not pester me and try to get me to decide prematurely. I won't bore with the rest of the unneeded details of the purchase, but I will say overall I spent a little over 1 hour at the dealership because Michael made sure everything he could do was done when we got there for each step and we went and did our own thing while they prepared each step. I cannot express how impressed I am with this process. Not only did I find the new beastly SUV I have dreamed of and worked for for many years, but it was a hassle free, delightful experience and I look forward to a continuing relationship with Berthod.
