I was set to buy a car from BidCars that appeared to be in excellent condition. I asked to have a local mechanic take a look and the sales manager said he didn't think it was necessary given that it was un in excellent condition. I asked to have a local mechanic take a look and the sales manager said he didn't think it was necessary given that it was under 30,000 miles but he agreed to an inspection. The independent mechanic found that it needed new brake pads and that the rotors were rusted out. I asked if the sales manager if they would agree to have the independent mechanic repair it. They requested an estimate and when they received it, they offered instead to take care of the repair themselves. I was concerned that it would be done by their same mechanics who inspected and put it on the market in the first place. Their owner sent me an angry email that said I had "trust issues" (well, yes, wouldn't you?) I suspect they will now sell it "as is" to the first buyer who doesn't bother getting a pre-sales inspection done. If you are even thinking of buying from this dealership, I can only recommend making the investment in an independent inspection. It was money well spent (and saved). Finance department was great. Worked with us to get all the paperwork done so we could drive away in our new used car. After we signed we noticed that they never cleaned the car before telling us it was ours. Pieces of food in the cracks of the seats, sticky spots on the back of chairs and on the dash boards. I had to go out and spend more money to have a different company detail it. I was only offered a free first oil change instead of making plans and fixing what they didn't do. More

The ad I contacted them though did not list the additional $750 fees they added to the price and forcing me to pay a delivery fee of $350 because I am in NH.
