Bait and switch tactics. Wanted to sell vehicle for $6000 over website advertised price. Tried telling be dealer discount included rebates although they were listed separately. Total scam. I even emailed the over website advertised price. Tried telling be dealer discount included rebates although they were listed separately. Total scam. I even emailed the general manager who responds to the negative reviews. I'll let you guess if I've heard back. Don't bother with this place. More
I'm sick. Worst car buying experience in my 56 years. I wish i had read reviews. Do yourself a big justice and buy somewhere else. The thing is they don't care. Just read their responses to all the bad rev wish i had read reviews. Do yourself a big justice and buy somewhere else. The thing is they don't care. Just read their responses to all the bad reviews. Very dishonest. I left their dealership feeling violated. I did an online purchase of a so called certified vehicle? I live 200 miles away and they offered no assistance for delivery. I spent $200 on Uber and took me 8 days to get to pick it up. Much to my surprise the vehicle had a whole lot of scuffs scratches minor dings that were'not pointed out.It had 4 mix and match tires on a 23000 mile vehicle? had some small cuts in the leather seat were'not pointed out . Overall bad experience More

Ive been searching for a Ram 1500 for almost the past year, mostly watching prices and rebates, trying to time it right. I contacted multiple dealerships across the area to get the real price, because we all know the internet price is not the real price. I contacted the dealership inquiring about one vehicle and asking the actual price, but never heard anything back. Not a big deal to me, as I wasn’t actually ready to buy. The dealer add-ons is close to $3,000, which is about the same as everyone else around here and they all say it’s not removable. Skip ahead to July and I’m doing my normal browsing and find a Ram in the color I like with an Internet price that I can agree with. I contact the dealership and get a response from the internet manager and get a sales rep Email as well. Amber was my sales rep, I asked to come in for a test drive. We agree to a date and time. I showed up at that time and she had the vehicle already parked up front with the keys on her desk. My only complaint about the test drive is the truck had less than 20 miles to empty which doesn’t give you much of a good test drive. We discussed price and I got all the add-ons pricing which put the truck a little out of my comfort zone with price. I wasn’t able to take the printout of the price and fee schedule due to their policy, is what I am told, which I did not appreciate. I was able to get a quick photo of it to be able to review at home. I decided to not go with this truck because of the price. While I was doing the test drive, I also got my trade in appraised and their value was about $2,000 less than other appraisals (highly recommend getting trade ins appraised at different places like Texas direct auto and carvanna). I inquired about that and was told that the quote given was the best they could do. A few days later, I saw a similar truck that was cheaper. Knowing the add-ons and fees now, I knew this would be in my price range. I texted Amber and asked to do a test drive. I came in the next morning and she again had the truck up front and keys ready. This truck had just arrived the night before, when I saw it online, so it had not been inspected yet. I wasn’t able to drive it legally on the street (also annoying) but Is as able to drive around the lot. We sat down and discussed price again. Amber was able to do the same deal we discussed a few days earlier on the other truck. We also agreed on the dealership paying for a spray in bed-liner. With that, we made a deal. This process only took 30 minutes maybe. I did not want to finance through the dealership, as that was a big complaint I see on the reviews. I financed through my credit union but still had to do paperwork with the finance at the dealership. That process occurred the next day and took about 2 hours (most of it being waiting for the finance manager to be ready and get his phone from his car....). I got the spray in bed liner installed at the place they use and found a small scratch in the paint. I contacted Amber about it and they agreed to do the touch up paint. Overall, I am pleased with the experience. There are definitely areas they could improve on (gas in vehicles, not making a customer wait for you to get your phone from your car). I never anticipated buying from them, but I do recommend Amber if you go there. She was on top of just about everything. One last item, their expensive service agreement isn’t worth it unless you plan on losing your key a bunch or damaging the interior constantly. Molar includes 4 oil changes in 2 years and a 1 year interior protection. They don’t tell you that until after you decline the service agreement. The reviews on the service department seem pretty terrible. I look forward to having a good experience with them in the future and can give a good review for that as well. More

I have purchased in my life probably 20 + cars , Clear Lake Chrysler is by far the worst I have ever dealt with. If you speak with others in the industry , they all know about this dealership and how they treat customers. They can’t even put your correct e mail in their system but not because they can’t type, but because they know that Chrysler corporate will reach out for a survey of the dealership and they do not want a bad mark so they put phony emails so when Chrysler sends out the survey, no one responds and they don’t look bad. Oldest trick in the book. Read the reviews from anywhere on this dealer. They are almost all 1 star, and there is a common theme for most. However, it is not so much the sales side ( my experience there was not so bad until I met their back of house finance folks who are stereotypical crappy , sleazy car dealer guys) but their service department is not only incompetent, but most of them ( not all ) make you feel like you are bothering them. I never brought my vehicle in 1 time to be repaired, ( and that was always at least 1 week in the shop) You. Would always have to bring it in for the same thing multiple times and many times you would have to have new things added to the repair list. Once, my vehicle was in their shop 7 weeks and when it was returned, it still was not fixed !! Basically , I would give them zero stars if possible, but the one star given was for the few folks there that did seem to care. Based on the fact that there is only bad reviews for this dealer( or at least 99% are bad) I would assume that the ownership either can’t read, doesn’t care, to busy with their other dealerships , because the reviews for these guys have been bad for years and everyone I have spoken with has said that as well. I guess they make money or they would close their doors. The management often responds to these reviews with the same canned email. Sorry to say, but I will never buy or do business with them and will be sure and spread the word around to avoid them to all my friends . More
Run from this dealer. Another landmark “land shark” Chevy that got shut down. First bad sign was I had an appt with a lady online to find out when I get to the dealer I’m being passed off to somebody who ha that got shut down. First bad sign was I had an appt with a lady online to find out when I get to the dealer I’m being passed off to somebody who had no idea what we had discussed. Then prices online are bait to get you in the door and they add 2,995 for dealer add ons where they don’t actually add anything that didn’t come from the dodge factory. Then on top of that they try to low ball me $3k below kbb for trade in. How hard is it to advertise a true price and offer reasonable values for trade ins. I’ve bought 10+ cars in my life and worst dealer I’ve dealt with. Sales person tried to make me feel like I had no idea what I was talking about and no manager even cared to come speak with us. Dealers loss since we are serious buyers and will find a fair dealer. More
***** PLEASE read all reviews!!!!!!! The reviews here are all basically the same thing as I am saying here. Also the “ owner “ comments to make you think they care. Look at the date of this post- and I’ll po all basically the same thing as I am saying here. Also the “ owner “ comments to make you think they care. Look at the date of this post- and I’ll post a picture of the email I sent days ago and still haven’t got a response! So please do not buy here. And carefully read reviews before you purchase!!!!!!!!!!!!! ************This place is not recommended! Please check with other places and especially the finance department to make sure you are getting a good deal. Please be aware of the 3,000.00 “ protection package “ that they require you to buy. You do not have to buy this and if they add 3,000.00 to the price of the vehicle. Take your business elsewhere. Do not fall for this scam !!!!!!! Be smarter than that. I’ve been trying to contact the owner and the general manager to talk about the customer service here. The sales manager actually hung up on me and told me I don’t have to buy the vehicle when I said I am not paying even 1,000 for a protection. People are so blinded by a new car even if it’s pre owned that they have tunnel vision- they want the car so they will be willing to pay for that. But remember when you go to get out of it and you are upside down or remember you paid 1500.00 to 3,000 to buy a vehicle from them. Please be smart. More
I FOUND A VEHICLE I WANTED ONLINE AND CALLED TO CONFIRM THE VEHICLE WAS STILL AVAILABLE THE MORNING THAT I WAS TO GO PREVIEW THE VEHICLE. I SPOKE TO KENDRA WHO ADVISED ME THAT THE VEHICLE WAS INDEED THERE THE VEHICLE WAS STILL AVAILABLE THE MORNING THAT I WAS TO GO PREVIEW THE VEHICLE. I SPOKE TO KENDRA WHO ADVISED ME THAT THE VEHICLE WAS INDEED THERE AT THE DEALERSHIP AND SHE WOULD HAVE IT CLEANED UP AND READY FOR ME TO TEST DRIVE UPON MY ARRIVAL. I ARRIVED ONTIME FOR MY APPOINTMENT AND WENT TO THE USED CAR OFFICE. I WAS GREETED BY A SALE PERSON. I TOLD HIM I HAD AN APPT WITH KINDRA TO TEST DRIVE A VEHICLE. HE INDICATED THAT THE VEHICLE HAD SOLD THE DAY BEFORE. (OBVIOUSLY THIS DEALERSHIP EITHER DOES NOT KNOW WHAT THEY HAVE INSTOCK OR THEY DO NOT UPDATE THEIR OWN WEBSITE PROMPTLY. I THEN TRIED TO CALL KENDRA BUT WAS TOLD SHE WAS BUSY AND WAS PUT ON HOLD FOREVER. I THEN WENT ACROSS THE STREET TO NEW CAR SALES TO SPEAK WITH THE MANAGER WHO LACKED CYSTONER SERVICE SKILLS IN MY OPINION. . I EXPLAINED TO HIM WHAT HAD HAPPENED AND HE TOLD ME THEY COULD SALE ME A MURANO LOL I DON'T THINK SO! THAT WAS NOT WHAT I HAD COME THERE TO PREVIEW. . ON THE WAY OUT HE MADE A SMART COMMENT THAT "WE SALE VEHICLE" LOL YEAH RIGHT NOT IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE IN STOCK LOL IF THIS GUY IS THE OWNER ITS NO WONDER THE REVIEWS ARE LOW. IF NOT THEN THE OWNER OF THIS DEALERSHIP NEEDS TO SERIOUSLY LOOK INTO HIS CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. More

Exterior had rock chips and scratches all around exterior, including some with touch-up paint already applied (poorly) for coverage. Brake Rotors also greatly worn. I cancelled my purchase when Clear Lake Dodge refused to turn (machine) at their cost, the existing brake rotors, which were worn, glazed, and unsafe. (Likely a cost to them of 2-hours labor.) Apparently, Clear Lake Dodge ONLY cares about making PROFIT. And has no concern about customer safety or return business. More
