This was a different experience. They found the exact vehicle I wanted and made me a good offer. Deal not honored after 4 1/2 drive I called the dealership to inquire about a 2017 Tucson from their website and spoke to Veronica. I told her I was given an offer on my trade in by my I called the dealership to inquire about a 2017 Tucson from their website and spoke to Veronica. I told her I was given an offer on my trade in by my local Hyundai and she said they would beat it by 500. She told me to put in my finance app because she was sure they could beat the rate given to me by my credit union. She later texted me and told me she had great news, they could beat the rate and give me the terms I wanted! The next day I put in an offer with her on a Tucson with the Eco trim, which she later replied that she talked with her manager and my offer was agreed to. I told her I would see her on Saturday. I drove almost 300 miles excited the whole way thinking I had a great deal in place. I got to the dealership and was placed with a different salesman because she wasn't there, although she did text me and say she didn't expect me to get there so soon and was on her way. She never showed. I found and that not only was there no approved finance deal, they would not honor the trade in price, and they would not honor the agreed upon price even though I had the messages from Veronica. I drove 4 1/2 hours and spent 5 1/2 hours and the dealership to drive 4 1/2 hours home without a new car and humiliated. I was lied to from the first time I spoke to Veronica. I would not recommend her to anyone. To rub salt in the wound, I received an email from her thanking me for allowing her to assist me I purchasing me new car. I guess she thought if I drove all that way I would take the car regardless but that definitely was not the case. I didn't make the long trip there to get the same deal I could have gotten in my town. But fortunately her email contained a link to this site that I was unaware so I could warn others before they make the same mistake I did. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB tomorrow as well. If you must go to this dealership, which I would not suggest, talk to Robert. He's the gentleman she left to deal with her unsatisfied customer while she didn't have the decency to even show up and tell me to my face she lied to me! If I could give her zero stars I would. More

The Ron Carter Experience-Friendswood Facility is really nice with comfortable atmosphere. My salesman was very professional and nice. It was very busy and he was multitasking but when you tell a customer that you will be right back and don't come back for 20-25 minutes, that's not acceptable. I will say that in all my car buying experiences (3 cars from Ron Carter), this scenario seems to be the same with all salesman. Additionally, I didn't like the fact that all salesman's desk at this location were out in the open. This doesn't afford a lot of privacy when customers are divulging there very personal financials. I was very offended by the gentleman (didn't get his name) that approved the discount off of the MSRP. When I explained that another dealership offered to give me $1088 off the MSRP, he asked (not rudely), why didn't I go to that dealership instead. I explained that I had great experiences with Ron Carter in Alvin so I wanted to stick with Ron Carter. He said okay and gave discount. I will say that the customer service at Ron Carter has declined some since Ron Carter was "franchised" but over all, I am happy with the buying experience. I got the vehicle that I wanted at the price that I wanted. However, in the future, I might be a little more selective in choosing my dealership and make their customer service a bigger part of decision making process. When i picked up my plates, I had some lock bolts installed on my tires and your Service Department was Awesome!! Very quick and efficient. More
