Hyundai Elantra Purchase Started working with one person. Couldn't get any info or help for 2 weeks. Went to the dealership to get the trade in value of my vehicle. They were Started working with one person. Couldn't get any info or help for 2 weeks. Went to the dealership to get the trade in value of my vehicle. They were too busy and couldn't help me. Called and talked to a few different people and couldn't get any help. Finally got the name of a supervisor through email and called him directly. From that point I was able to get help. I was referred to this dealership and they tried to tell me they would not apply the referral bonus to the person who referred me because they weren't registered in the referral system. I almost walked out at that point because they were the only reason I was in there to do business and I thought that was unacceptable when they already told me that person who referred me would get the bonus. They ended up only sending a $100 check to the person who referred me to them instead of the promotion (pay car payment up to $500?). The whole experience was extremely stressful, but they did good in the end and they were able to give me a good deal. I am happy with my purchase, but I am so glad it's over with. More
Dishonest dealership We were approached right when we walked in the door which was nice. It took us an hour to get there so we all needed to use the restroom. I had to ask at least 3 times where the restrooms were. They were ready to just get started as soon as we walked in The salesperson was respectful and explained features on the car. Financing tried to sell us additional warranty at least 5 times. Always coming back to it in conversation. The dealership was not straightforward with us on the pricing. I told them the BOTTOM LINE price that we could afford otherwise we need to walk. They came back in agreeing to the price on the 2 cars we purchased. Later at financing, at least 4 hours later, I kept making sure no additions. She promised me. When we got home, I laid out all the different documents and calculated on a spreadsheet. I learned that they added a $2,400 package to each of the cars. When I called Christian he laughed and said I can bring the cars back for a $1,500 restock fee for each car. More
