Bizarre After our 1st visit and test drive on Tuesday April 12th we decided on Wednesday to purchased the Santa Fe in black for $36742. We called our salesman After our 1st visit and test drive on Tuesday April 12th we decided on Wednesday to purchased the Santa Fe in black for $36742. We called our salesman who told us the one in stock would be available on Friday. He did not call us back for 2 days because he had the next day off. On Friday he called and asked us to come in and get the black suv. We came in on Saturday to buy it and trade in my truck. Regretably we were told that the black one had just sold. We agreed to have another one from another location brought in. While waiting for the trade in evaluation we were introduced to another salesman because our original one had to leave the dealership. We sat with David and negotiated a price and found out that the quote we received earlier was contingent on us purchasing a Platinum Protection Package for $3000 more. After going back and forth on the price and trade in price for a bit we finally agreed on a deal. We were promised a loaner of the closest model vehicle which we had purchased but wound up with a 2016 model without the tech or navigation packages. We went home and then went back and another salesman switched out for a 2017 model. On the following Friday we received a call stating that a vehicle had been located but it had 500 miles on it. He offered some incentives by way of some gift cards. We accepted the vehicle without seeing it. On Monday night we received a call from David that the SUV had arrived and was being detailed and gassed up and ready for pickup. We agreed to pick it up the next day. David said okay just let me know when your headed on in. So the next day we called to say we were coming in and both salesmen we were dealing with were not there. An associate named Josh took our case and we received our Santa Fe. It had not been washed and detailed. Josh made it clear that we should call back and speak to David for the delivery details. We tried reaching him for several days and he was supposedly sick. I finally called the switchboard and explained our confusion and was directed back to our original salesman Johnny. He said he was not aware of our troubles. He took control of the situation. We met on Monday May 2nd and some things are still being worked out. Bizarre There's a lot more details left out but I'm moving on. EDIT: 5/23/2016 After waiting for over two weeks for a call from Ron Carter about our service appointment my wife decided to place a call to Johnny on 5/19/2016. He said that someone in service had dropped the ball on our case. She reminded him of his statement that he was going to be the one handling our case and he would be the one calling us. An appointment was made for today at 10:30 to drop off our Santa Fe for service. to be continued...... More

Started out awful but ended GREAT I visited the dealership twice to purchase a vehicle... My first (4/21/16) salesman paul didnt want to honor my employee discount that i asked about and also didnt want to take my counter offer to the manager. They didnt have the vehicle i wanted to purchase at the location. He told me the price range i was looking for wasnt realistically possibly and he didnt want to work out anything else. My trade in value from another dealership was $13500 but paul Also didnt offer the additional $500 more on my trade and $600 giftcard that was advertised with a purchase... Only offered $300 gift card.... As i was leaving another salesman offered to help me purchase the vehicle i wanted... I was originally going to just keep my current vehicle but great prices were advertised so I returned to the dealership 4/25/16 to purchase my vehicle with a new salesman Eduardo Mendez. At first they were trying to offer me the same price for a regular sonata limited that they were offering for the hybrid limited and as i was getting ready to leave they offered a better trade in value and monthly rate. I was able to get a vehicle with all the main features i wanted in the price range i wanted. The additional $500 was added but i didnt get the $600 gift card for my purchase just $300... Had to return to the dealership next day to get my sd card for my navigation and learn how to work it but over all im satisfied with my purchase. Only disappointed about my first visit and my gift card offer. More

The number of cars on the lot to choose from was extensive and we were greeted inside the dealership building before we barely got inside the door. David Wishart was a personable, but professional salesman! He knew the features of the car we were interested (Tucson Limited) inside and out. He was encouraging, but not pushy! Once we had made our decisions and took our test drive, David walked us through the dealership to show us where the Service Center is located and where to arrive for any upcoming service. David left no stone unturned when it came to explaining all the details regarding the warranties, Blue Link, SiriusXM, etc. Alexis Camarillo was the finance person who worked with us on financing and shopped for the best deal for us. This was a long, but less daunting car shopping experience than expected. Ron Carter makes its customers feel at home and comfortable while going through this buying process. More
