Bill Black Chevrolet Cadillac is in its third generation of leadership. It was founded by Bill Black II in 1955 on E Market Street in the heart of downtown Greensboro. They moved to the current location at 601 E Bessemer Avenue in 1966. At that time the dealership was Black Cadillac Oldsmobile. Bill Black III was named Dealer Principal of the dealership in 1984 and purchased North State Chevrolet in 2004 after the phase out of the Oldsmobile franchise.

Nearly all of this is fairly accurate. However, the service he is referring to was his request/negotiation of us completing a full 100k service on the truck which at our cost was a little over 2400 dollars. There were delays in the completion due to the fact we wanted to only use OEM parts and it is a Ford. We were relying on parts from a different store. Secondly, his availability to have the vehicle delivered (at no expense) was difficult to set up and was a moving target. In his defense, that was solely based on his work schedule and distances between work and home. He did, in fact, purchase a 6 yr old truck with 98,000 miles on it so the wheel bearing may have had some wear perhaps but we aren't here 70 years because we just see stuff bad enough to be unsafe and do not address it. On the previous issue of the over fill of fluids, that was 100% on us for sure. We owned that and reimbursed the customer his expense. I regret we did that for sure. Yes, we required documentation on this issue from a Ford store because when I hear fluids being thrown, while logically assuming we over filled it, I still needed to insure nothing else was going on. I do not regret that. This customer has been cordial, communicated firm but respectfully, and we did drop the ball in a couple of places.
