Great salesman! My experience at Bill Kay used cars was excellent. I even bought an extended warranty for my Chevy, Connor my salesman was professional, intelligent, My experience at Bill Kay used cars was excellent. I even bought an extended warranty for my Chevy, Connor my salesman was professional, intelligent, and in the end, overwhelmingly generous. Here's why. I was buying my 16 year old daughter a used car. It needed to be reliable and safe. When I test drove the vehicle I ultimately purchased, the low tire warning light was on. We pulled into their garage area and clearly one tire was very low. As part of the purchase agreement the tire was to be fixed. Fast forward two weeks later (my daughter was on vacation for two weeks so car wasn't driven). My daughter leaves to drive on tollway and calls me hysterical that tire light is on. I told her to slow down and go to nearest gas station once off tollway. She needed to ask an employee to air that same tire up since she didn't know how. She made it home after fine and I made appointment with local repair shop to fix tire. They found a nail in it and repaired for $30. This was to be done by dealer and they knowingly did not do it and let the safety of my daughter be in jeopardy. I called Connor and he absolutely remembered that was to be fixed before leaving and said he would talk to used car manager to get refund for me as I sent him copy of repair invoice. Their used car manager, Jamie, denied issuing me a refund for repair. I was stunned. Connor felt so bad and disagreed with his manager that he PERSONALLY sent me $30. Who does that? A quite extraordinary salesman and person. He more than made up for any misgivings I had. If you get the chance make sure you ask for Connor as your salesman as he is one exceptional person!!!! More

Friendly place, not so good salesman I had a good time at Bill Kay buying my first car, Bill Baresch was a friendly guy to talk to but not so much to buy from. I had written a review after I got the car saying Bill treated me like I wasn't an adult, calling me "kiddo" and patting me on the shoulder like I'm his grandson or something. I believe I left him a 3 star review because as a 19yr old buying my first car I wasn't a fan of his behavior towards me. Bill called me the next day and started out by asking how the car was, apologizing for calling me kiddo, and then got straight to the point of directly asking me "Could you change the review? It helps me get customers," and I agreed after he told me it will effect his business. But the whole situation left a very bad taste in my mouth and I think it's more fair to warn potential customers that Bill was more concerned about me changing his review than he was for righting the wrong I felt had happened. Something else that I didn't add to my first review, after filling out the finance paperwork and finally getting the keys to leave Bill told me that I would need to go fill up the tank across the street because it was very low on gas. How is that acceptable? How can you sell a car that's got a gallon of gas in it? I'd assume it's customary to fill up the tank before handing it off so I'm also assuming it's Bill's 5 star service that let that happen. Bill Kay in Lisle is a nice, friendly place, many of the other salesman and employees were very nice to me, but I wasn't a fan of my salesman Bill Baresch. More
