My experience at Bill Kay Chevrolet has always been a positive one. Before my recent purchase of a used car I had work done on my previous vehicle. The service department did a great job and were very friendly and did everything that was in my best interest. They were not pushy, they just told me what was wrong, what my options were and the prices associated with the repairs. They even go the extra mile to wash your car. As I mentioned before I just recently purchased a use car from them. They happen to have the vehicle I was looking for at a phenomenal price. What I appreciated most was that they worked with me and gave a great price for my trade it (which was broken down and in parts in their service department) this was after a little bit of back and forth bartering, but in the end they were reasonable. The salesman Joe was great. He was kind and helpful. He pretty much answered all my questions if he could or he got someone else to. I got a great interest rate and the payments I wanted too. They even topped off my gas tank. which i would expect them to do anyways. I would recommend buying from Bill Kay Chevrolet on Odgen in lisle. They are great people, sales people, but great people. If you stand your ground and know what you want they are willing to work with you. ** I gave a 4 on quality of work because I feel they could have moved a little faster in the process, It was late an night and we all just wanted to go home. I was greeted by Bill when I came to look at the 2012 Chevy Impala. He was very helpful in telling me the different options available in the car. Bill answered the specific questions I asked. I did the "Build your own vehicle" thing and sent the request to the dealer just to get an idea of price. I did not purchase the car through Patrick, the internet salesman. The car that matched my description was in another state, but if he had not called back I may have continued my search elsewhere, if at all. I then went to the Bill Kay website and found a Corvette that I liked a lot, called Patrick to verify it's availability and then went to the dealer to meet Bill Baresh and look at the car. The rest is history. No high pressure. Bill and the others treated me like a friend, my '91 Corvette was appraised, and a deal was made. The paperwork was expedited in a professional manner and I left with my new 2012 Grand Sport convertible and an extended warranty. I was able to work out the basic pre-approval online along with lining up what cars I was interested in. Once at the dealership Joe Pantaleo (sales) was very helpful and Joe along with Chris Baumann (Assistant Manager) were very accommodating and worked hard to get me into the vehicle I was looking for. They knew the range of payment I was looking for monthly and were able to get me into the vehicle I wanted below my expected monthly payment. I have bought many vehicles new and old and this has definitely been one of the best if not the best and easiest car buying experiences I have had. I will definitely recommend Bill Kay to friends and family and will continue to do business with them in the future. More
