I found out about Bill Kolb thru their partnership with Costco, and Rich worked with me by telephone and emailm starting in October, when I decided to get an Outback during my next NYC visit this holiday season. Buying a new car should be fun. For me it was a terrifying proposition. I lost my husband in 2010, and he had left me his favorite car...a 90 Honda Accord LX. I then gave it my son. I grew up in Astoria and now live in L.A., but am in NY several times yearly for a month+ at a time, to check on an aged aunt. I shipped the Honda here in 2012. Although it was still running well, I had for years had my eye on an OUTBACK which was beautiful, and rated very highly for harsh weather driving. Because of my residence in L.A. primarily, it was a complicated and convoluted process to coordinate NYDMV, my insurance, and my bank services. Rich made it as seamless and painless as possible. He was extremely supportive when the tow company came to collect my Honda for donation to Kars4Kids...it was an emotional experience, and he was the consummate professional and made the transition easy. It was quite busy in the showroom/office that day, and everyone was pleasant and cordial, and took the time to wish us happy holidays, but Rich is stand out exceptional.
