Brought in Honda Ridgeline for recall. Max told us vehicle passed punch test and is ordering the part to install to support the gas tank. Parts came in and we worked with Aaron who told Max told us vehicle passed punch test and is ordering the part to install to support the gas tank. Parts came in and we worked with Aaron who told us the vehicle was not even tested last time. That our truck won’t hold the recall due to corrosion but not in the exact spot for recall. He wrote it was unsafe to drive, and refused a loaner because my service dog was with us, which I believe is against the law in Illinois. Before they told us it was unsafe to drive they went ahead and changed the oil for $75.00 on a vehicle they just deemed unsafe. Gave us our keys and let us leave. More

Stay away from the service department. Very dishonest and try and take advantage of you. Was told to bring it it as it would be covered under warranty then they tried to charge $500 for a Very dishonest and try and take advantage of you. We did not purchase a Honda from this Honda dealer but we did buy a used Mazda. Our salesman Chris was very attentive and fun to work with throughout the entire process. We drove an hour to look at a specifi did buy a used Mazda. Our salesman Chris was very attentive and fun to work with throughout the entire process. We drove an hour to look at a specific vehicle they had in their inventory and they expressed their appreciation of our time and effort and ensured our time was not wasted. We did not finance the car but even working with the finance office was quick and painless with no high pressure sales techniques. You don't hear this too often but working with Chris at Bill Walsh Honda was actually an enjoyable car buying experience! More
