Outstanding experience My wife, daughter and I had been in the market for a Ford Edge. We had just moved to the area and were researching relentlessly online. We ended up driving by Billingsley Hyundai on a Sunday and the dealership was closed. We did see a Ford Edge that we really liked in the used car section. The next day we went in to the dealership and noticed the Edge we wanted to inquire about was gone. We were greeted Chris Crates, he informed us that someone else was test driving the vehicle and was more than likely buying it. We were very disappointed with our luck. Chris, understanding our issue, hopped right on the computer looking for an Edge at one of the other Billingsley dealers. There wasn't anything that really stood out. He then said he could take us next door to their Ford dealer because they may have something. They didn't have anything in the lot but did have a Ford Edge that had just been traded in but hadn't been inspected. This didn't bother Chris, he walked into the dealer, got the keys, got a price, got it all lined up for it to be inspected, cleaned and ready if we wanted it. He introduced us to the manager (I can't remember his name but he had many years in the business working for Ford prior), who was also very friendly, personable and reassuring. While we were starting the paperwork for the vehicle he had just shown us(we had kept ribbing him about how disappointed we were with the original Edge being sold), the other Edge we were originally interested in came back. Chris immediately checked on the situation and found out that couple had decided not to purchase the vehicle. He immediately had my wife drive it and we were sold. Clearly the manager and the salesman knew how much we wanted the car, but they STILL negotiated on the price to where we wanted it. We went in to finance and the wonderful lady we worked with did not push anything on us, she offered what she had, we declined and she was perfectly ok with it. Chris had the vehicle cleaned, filled up with gas, and even scheduled us to have a paint chip in the fender fixed for no charge. I will purchase from them again. Absolutely enjoyed the entire experience from Billingsley Hyundai. More
