Captive I made an appointment for my Stelvio to have its first service on a day when I was sure to be able to get a loaner. Upon arrival I was greeted, and i I made an appointment for my Stelvio to have its first service on a day when I was sure to be able to get a loaner. Upon arrival I was greeted, and immediately asked if I would like to wait since the service could be completed in an hour and a half. I said, "sure" as I live 50 minutes away. 40 minutes go by and my car has not moved from where I parked it in the service drive. So, I went in to talk to Jeff. He said there was an issue, and that the service was not showing as approved to be completed free (we bought the car there, and the first service was to be paid for by Alfa). I asked him if I could have the loaner to leave while this gets worked out. He then asked if I would approve the service to be completed out of pocket if he could not get the approval. I told him I would not approve that. At that point he would not give me the loaner, and I would have to wait. At this point it has been over an hour and a half, and he was waiting to hear back from Alfa. This is my third car purchased from this dealership, and two of which were Maserati Gran Turismos. One would think better service would be forthcoming based on the dollars spent. To be denied a simple loaner car while things were taken care of was incredibly frustrating, and a poor decision by an otherwise great dealership. More
Overall I feel that the dealership is a very organized operation. I received very good service during the sales proces including the closing. Great car buying experience From the moment I walked into the dealership I was impressed with the no pressure sales approach. Everyone I dealt with was incredibly professional and responsive! In particular, I appreciated Paul and Ala (who I primarily dealt with). I tend to hold on to my cars for 10 plus years so when I go to buy I typically ask A LOT of questions and I like to test drive as many different vehicles as I can to narrow my selection. Through the whole experience Paul and Ala were patient and professional despite the fact I came back 3 different times and moved my deposit/hold from one vehicle to another, etc. In short, I'd definitely buy from this dealership again. More

Found my Alfa Romeo Giulia QV I was looking for a specific model year Quafrifoglio with specific options. Found it on the internet which led me to the Essence Auto Group website. I was looking for a specific model year Quafrifoglio with specific options. Found it on the internet which led me to the Essence Auto Group website. Worked details with Paul Adkins Director of Alfa Romeo Sales via email and then phone. Flew to Dallas, Essence picked me up at the airport, and the car was what I was looking for. I then drove it home to Alabama. Pleasant no drama dealer experience, nice drive home. Realized when I got home, I didn't have the manuals so Paul mailed them to me. Kudos to Paul and Essence! I hope my local Alfa dealer is as easy to work with when I need local service. More
