We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and allowing us to address the issue.   Humming noises can have multiple possible causes, such as tires or wheel bearings and our initial assessment during the test drive and feeling the wear on the tires ,pointed to the tires being the noise. After your return we identified the front wheel bearings the source and replaced under warranty.   We understand this sequence was disappointing and resulted in an expense on your end.    If you would like to discuss further or review your service records, please contact me directly. Thank you for your response. I understand that humming noises can have multiple possible causes, and I acknowledge that the wheel bearings were ultimately replaced under warranty. However, my concern goes beyond the explanation provided. The issue here is the diagnostic process itself. A more thorough and professional diagnosis at the initial visit—such as running the vehicle on a lift—could have identified the wheel bearing issue before I incurred unnecessary tire-related expenses. This was not a matter of outcome, but of procedure. While I appreciate that the repair was eventually covered under warranty, that alone does not address the financial impact caused by the initial misdiagnosis. I am not looking for further explanations or discussions; I am looking for accountability and an appropriate resolution for the expense I should not have had to incur. I believe a professional service department should stand behind its diagnostic decisions and take steps to make things right when those decisions result in avoidable costs for the customer.
