Usually I never have any concerns with Boardwalk Honda, you guys always treat me right. On Monday 6/21, I went in for my 125k maintenance check, had my oil changed, tires rotated, and filters changed. When I left, I started hearing rumbling noises and vibration while in driving motion. I went back Tuesday, the advisor John Buchanan drove my car with me said he believes it's the tires due to the uneven tread, and to keep driving for 1-2 weeks to wear them down. I went to work and called the advisor back because my brother in law suggested balancing the tires. The advisor John said he doesn't believe that will work but will do whatever I wanted. I said ok, I'll give it a week if that's what you think is best. He said yes. The noise seemed to increase so I made an appointment for Saturday June 26. The technician says it's the front passenger wheel bearing and needs to be changed asap. And waiting until next Saturday is not a good idea. 1) Why wasn't this caught Monday after rotating the tires? 2) What would have happened if I took the advisor John's advice and kept driving for 2 weeks??! 3) Why is the final cost going to be so high when the part is not that much? $583 seems excessive. I understand costs for parts, labor, and taxes... but considering the circumstances that lead up to this point is a bit unsettling. More

I leased a brand new Honda Fit and for 7 months it ran without a problem. Then one day it would start. I tried a few times and it started up. Okay, just a fluke. Later that day, it wouldn't start again no matter how many times I tried. I had to have it towed to the dealership by Honda roadside. When it got there, they couldn't start it either, so they KNOW I'm not making the problem up. However, when they tried to start it later it worked and continued working. They said they can't replicate the problem so there's nothing they can do even though they KNOW something is wrong. So, I take the car back and accept some BS from the sales manager about the battery even though it wouldn't start with a jump either. Later that week, it wouldn't start again. This time luckily after a dozen tries and tapping on some relays, it worked. I took it back and told them the problem is still happening (which isn't a shocker since they did NOTHING). They kept it for a day, did nothing AGAIN, and said they can't fix anything because they can't replicate the problem. Apparently no one in this dealership knows what the word intermittent means, and thinks all of their customers are complete idiots. I told them I didn't want a defective car, and they said they would "trade me out". What that means is I can trade in my car and finance a new one, except the value of my car is $5000 under the payoff. So I would be paying an extra $5000 on top of a new car just to replace the defective car they leased me. Great customer service right? They absolutely could not care less and basically said go ahead and file a lemon claim. I honestly wanted this to be resolved, and thought they would even care a LITTLE about their customers, but they don't. Left with no other choice I'll have to pursue legal action. If your car never has any problems, you'll probably have an okay experience with these people. Just remember, though, that if anything goes wrong, you're going to get completely screwed. They. Do. Not. Care. More
Great, professional service. Everyone and anyone that needs servicing done, don’t go anywhere else. Make sure you ask for Shawn, he’s the best. needs servicing done, don’t go anywhere else. Make sure you ask for Shawn, he’s the best. More

Will never be going back to this dealership again! I bought 3 Honda’s, 3 Acura’s and a BMW from this dealership since 2000 and in the last 2 years the service experience has gone dramatically downhill. bought 3 Honda’s, 3 Acura’s and a BMW from this dealership since 2000 and in the last 2 years the service experience has gone dramatically downhill. I was going to trade in our 2015 Honda CRV touring on a new 2021 CRV Touring and I am so glad I didn’t. Honda has lost its way, and they are no longer on the list of makes I will buy. I am now the proud owner of a 2021 Mazda Signature, and I couldn’t be happier! There is no comparison between the 2 cars. Honda looks and feels cheap, and the Mazda is in another class entirely. Fast, smooth, and no oil dilution! I’m now a Mazda customer for life. Going to buy our daughter a lesser train next year. More
2 hour wait for an oil change, tire rotation, and wiper blade change, get car back, and the oil is only filled to the halfway mark. Service manager argues with me that this is normal. Right then I knew I w blade change, get car back, and the oil is only filled to the halfway mark. Service manager argues with me that this is normal. Right then I knew I would never do business with Boardwalk Honda again. Ever. I purchased 6 new cars from them in 18 years, and their service used to be excellent. It is way below acceptable now. There were small signs before this, but I missed them at the time. This entire dealership is a shell of its former self, and I cannot suggest strongly enough that you stay away More
