Shop Charges Folks,, Check your invoices with regards to shop charges. Call it pad the bottom line charges. I spent 753,00 in work and then they popped on an additional $39.00 in shop charges. Insult to injury. They'did not use $39.00 in grease, oil, rags, etc. They just didn't. I asked service advisor about this and he could not give me a satisfactory answer. They don't know. Car is out of warranty so I'll now be looking for another shop to have work done.. I'm not paying this rip-off "charge". $39.00 charge ridiculous. Don't go here. More

DECEIVED AND DISAPPOINTED I felt Boardwalk Honda deliberately tried to embarrass me in front of my daughter. I cannot recommend my salesperson C.G. or the dealership. I was told the price for a specific car would be $16,793, and I was encouraged to bring my daughter in to drive it. It was to be her first car. We went there the next day and drove it. She liked it, but they said the price would have to be $17,900. I asked why it had gone up over $1,000 since the day before, and they said their "printout" indicated other dealerships were charging more for a similar car so they would too. I felt we had been brought there under false pretenses, and that it was an attempt to pressure me and embarrass me in front my daughter. I left there feeling deceived, and she left disappointed. More

First they tried to push my budget higher, then I was shown one car and told the price, but when we got back into the show room found out it was the "wrong car" and was actually a higher price. When we did finally get to talk to the manager things really went wrong- the manager actually YELLED at me in response to normal car related questions, and then proceeded to shame me for trying to buy a car in cash instead of financing. It was inconceivable how someone in sales and customer service could speak to a customer like this. At that point I could not bring myself to buy the car no matter how good a "deal" they tried to give me...the damage was done. I have heard about terrible customer service in the car industry but I thought that was a thing of the past- apparently not!! I ended up driving 50 miles away to see the same car at another dealer so that I would not have to deal with this situation again. More
