Brought one of my two Civic Type R's at opening 7am in for an oil change. After arriving the service advisor informed me of a "quick" recall for the steering which I agreed they could do. He explained the for an oil change. After arriving the service advisor informed me of a "quick" recall for the steering which I agreed they could do. He explained they needed to unscrew a cap, install new grease and replace with a new spring and cap, again reminding me this would be quick. After waiting 2-1/2 hours I texted the advisor with no response so I walked up to the counter for him to say 5 minutes. I did indeed receive the car after 5 minutes but handed the keys and shoo'd away to my car. If you didn't know the civic type r's come with bright red alcantara front seats, red carpet and red floor mats. Well upon getting into my car I noticed black grease stains on the two front seats and drivers side carpet. Seems like they didn't put any protection over the seats or carpet. I went back in with photos to show the advisor and another advisor took the keys and walked away rudely without saying a word to me of what was going on, or what they were doing. Another 10 minutes later they came back and said good to go. Yes they cleaned the seats and carpet but again no explanation or apologies. I've taken my cars to other Honda dealerships in New Jersey and I've never had such a bad experience or negligence from any other dealer, without explanations or at least an update. In summary, if you don't care about your cars or time sure come here, they'll fix your car. If you have anything you value or a higher end car from Honda and would like service to reflect the vehicle you purchased from Honda, stay away. I will be taking my business elsewhere. More
