Outside door trim on all four door is getting deformed and all have been replaced by dealer. Will never be going back to this dealership again! I bought 3 Honda’s, 3 Acura’s and a BMW from this dealership since 2000 and in the last 2 years the service experience has gone dramatically downhill. bought 3 Honda’s, 3 Acura’s and a BMW from this dealership since 2000 and in the last 2 years the service experience has gone dramatically downhill. I was going to trade in our 2015 Honda CRV touring on a new 2021 CRV Touring and I am so glad I didn’t. Honda has lost its way, and they are no longer on the list of makes I will buy. I am now the proud owner of a 2021 Mazda Signature, and I couldn’t be happier! There is no comparison between the 2 cars. Honda looks and feels cheap, and the Mazda is in another class entirely. Fast, smooth, and no oil dilution! I’m now a Mazda customer for life. Going to buy our daughter a lesser train next year. More
2 hour wait for an oil change, tire rotation, and wiper blade change, get car back, and the oil is only filled to the halfway mark. Service manager argues with me that this is normal. I'm writing this to express my extreme displeasure with my experience with boardwalk honda, in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. I went to the dealer because I saw a used 2018 Acura RDX for sale. During the sales p my experience with boardwalk honda, in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. I went to the dealer because I saw a used 2018 Acura RDX for sale. During the sales process the dealer attempted to work with me and we eventually agreed to the price for my trade and my down payment. During this process I agreed to allow them to make 1 application for a credit approval and potential interest rate. After giving me the percentage rate I was not exactly satisfied with APR because I have an excellent credit rating. I was ultimately able to find a percentage rate almost 2 points better at another bank. Which makes me question RJ's intentions when searching for my loan. I secured a loan through said bank who works with Boardwalk Honda. On the day of the sale I sent a text to my sales associate stating the same and gave a confirmation number for said loan. Instead of using the current loan I was approved for they placed an addition credit application to the same bank after I told them the APR and the Term. This additional inquiry into my outstanding credit will affect my credit score. I confronted the sales Manager (RJ) about the issues and he was very indifferent to my concern and denied any wrong doing until I had to get my bank on the phone to prove to him that in fact they had made a mistake and that it will affect my credit. RJ who was unsympathetic to my potential loss insulted me with a free oil change to fix their wrong doing and did not care that I would have be inconvenienced to insure my credit remains at it's high level. I will never do business with them ever again and caution others after my experience. This does put a soar taste in my mouth and I am extremely disappointed. More

When Joe the general manager messaged me through my Email. And than after I emailed back maybe 2 hours go by its about 1230pm. He called me and we talked for 10 mins or so. We finally came to terms on price not wanting to waste time and gas etc. So I scheduled an appointment and went down. Test drove it and love it. I loved the color and interior color so much. Had all the options I wanted and it was a 9-10 for what I wanted. I couldn't be happier. I have only owned the car for almost a week and I have it 80% of the way I want it. Still some more touches I need to do. But its close.thank you guys. More

The whole team from Steve to JR to Gene and also Tariq were more than accommodating and made our choice an easy one. They also were quick to take care of any minor issues we had and delivered to us the car my wife had been hoping for. They have earned a customer for life. More

Specifically asked my salesman Corey to send photos of any scratches and video. He couldn’t figure out how to do this and pics sent were not clear. The pics online were of a dirty car. They say they take pics before they are cleaned lol. I Asked manager Steve and Gene and didn’t get anything from them either. Was told car was excellent not a scratch on it. Drove four hours and there was damage to bumper and small scratches here and there on the car. I was told they must have missed that all of them and If you want a perfect car buy it new. Salesman was very frustrated that I wanted to look under the car since there were scratches all under front bumper that extended to undercarriage. Next manager Gene came out. I had an offer from my bank and Gene was very angry that I wanted to call them to compare what they offered vs the dealer. He sat in front of me glaring at me the entire time and speaking down to me during my conversation. The dealer makes money on the loan so of course he was pushing their loans. I specifically asked him if he checked it through Honda and he said he did. I was told through finance that it was never ran through Honda and the finance manager did it and got me a lower rate. Gene was very upset I wanted to check rates and said I was hard headed, and that he needed to give me some financial advice as well. He also said that he puts a timer on his sales staff and I really messed up their time. When I told him I wanted the best rate he argued with me about how much Interst I would pay over 5 years. He is such a seasoned sales manager and finance and business guy he can’t figure out how to use a simple loan calculator for interest and when I offered to put the whole thing on my credit card and I can pay off in cash began making comments that cmon you can’t really do that. Gene also completely lied about checking other banks as he prob made commission higher with capital one. I plan on reporting him to Honda financial as well. He was very disrespectful and I finally got tired of dealing with him and asked if he could just get the car ready. I was getting ready to cancel the whole deal but rented a car and drove 4 hours. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone as they belittle their customers, talk down to them and get angry if you come with your own preapproval and want to even look a little at the car. More

DISHONEST MANAGEMENT , BAIT AND SWITCH agreements. General manager wouldn't honor agreement he signed. I asked for 'out the door' price which was stated as including tax but they wouldn't honor that General manager wouldn't honor agreement he signed. Then they said they would honor it and eat the cost but then switched agreement and added tax on new agreement . Had I known I would have taken my business elsewhere. Back office slow to close the deal even without any other business. Took over 45 minutes, with cash in hand, to buy a car. Horrible buying experience. Then they try to sell you warranties that are NOT covered in the bumper - bumper warranty. (tires, hoses, wipers, paint, fabric, etc). You had to buy them that moment or not at all. BUT Dandre Robertson was a GREAT salesman, no pressure, relaxed and professional. He's honest but management isn't. I would buy from him but not from them. More
