Not to say I have bought to many cars, but I did sell them for 5 years. This was the best buying experience for me and my wife! I live 2 1/2 hours from Bob Browns. I found the Suburban that we were looking for (after 3 months of looking)on the internet @ 4:30 p.m. on a Thursday and on my way home from work I called them and give them my trade info. Eric the salesman called me back 10 min.later, I told him where we needed to be on price and he called me back once more and they were so close we had a deal. Honesty is a big thing for anyone buy a major purchase and it goes both ways (for the buyer and the seller)! I told them everything about my trade I could and they were honest about there Suburban! My wife and I drove to Bob Browns on Friday morning and signed so paperwork and drove our (new to us) 2007 Chevy Suburban home and we love it! Eric did a great job with a couple of problems that we had with the truck. Bob Brown should be very proud of his employees! Everyone that we talked with was very professional and made us feel at home! When we are ever in the market for another car or truck they will be our 1st call! In 2002, I purchased a new Isuzu Trooper from Bob Brown Isuzu. Last week, I traded that in on a new 2011 Chevrolet Traverse at Bob Brown Chevrolet. I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted and Doug Nicho Isuzu. Last week, I traded that in on a new 2011 Chevrolet Traverse at Bob Brown Chevrolet. I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted and Doug Nichol identified several on the lot that more than my criteria. We went for a test drive & Doug was able to answer all of my questions, but there was never a high-pressure sales pitch. When it came time to find my exact vehicle, Doug identified one that was exactly what I wanted and it was already in transit to the dealer. I had it in just a few days!! Being a long time customer, I am very satisfied with my experiences at Bob Brown in Des Moines. Both the sales and service staff are exceptional! I would highly recommend them to everyone. More
I stopped at the dealership and just wanted to look at a Cruz. Mr. Cook wanted me to test drive one, but I was leaving town the next day so said I would bring my husband back in about 10 days. We went in thinking there was no way we could make a trade, but Mr. Cook showed us three different vehicles and told us of some rebates and discounts available. He did some figuring and we found out we COULD make a very good deal and save us money on our monthly payments. We are getting more for less! He stayed late to help us make this trade, to our satisfaction. There was not pressure at all. Both he and the business manager, Lois Enga, explained everything to us both before the deal and after. I would certainly recommend Bob Brown Chevrolet and of course Mr. Cook. More
Doug and Tony made this experience wonderful and so simple! This is only the second time I have ever boughten a brand new car and they made is such a delightful experience and treated me with respect simple! I have already referred friends and family to Doug and Tony! I even got to pick the color that I preferred. Doug also kept in mind what car(s) would be a good fit for me since I will also be using this car to transport clients I work with. I would definitely recommend Bob Brown Chevrolet and Tony to anyone looking for a great selection of vehicles and to someone that really truly cares about what your needs are in a vehicle!! Doug was very thorough, patient with answering questions and made the experience of looking for a new car tolerable (noting I do not like car shopping!). I went to chevy.com to find dealers in my area for a 2011 Chevy Cruze and submitted an online request. The following morning I received a personal email from Megin with links to their inventory. She also called a little later to see if I wanted to schedule a time to visit the dealership. When I visited the dealership Doug greeted me within minutes of walking through the door. After a short sit down to make sure he understood what I was looking for we went out to the lot and he did a thorough walk through of all the vehicles options while parked and during the test drive. Doug was knowledgeable of the vehicle, answered all my questions clearly and in general is just a very personable man. I have visited other dealerships and felt pressured to make a decision that day, which makes me uncomfortable. Doug spent the time to show me the vehicle and broke down how the payment plan would work, but at no time did I feel pressured. My visit was less than a week ago and I have already told a few family members and friends of my good experience at Bob Brown. More

Since 1969 I have purchased six automobiles from Bob Brown Chevrolet. (five new - one used) I have been extremely satisfied with each experience. The sales staff have always been friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to answer every question, without being "pushy" to purchase a vehicle that exact day. This is especially true with this experience-- when I purchased a 2011 Cruze LTZ. My salesperson, Kendal Cook, went out of his way to make sure that I was 100% satisfied before, during, and after the sale was made. In addition, the business department made sure I was given all the possible options in financing, as well as extra features I could purchase at the time. Even though I am a little "sad" that the dealership will be moving to a new location which will not be as geographically convenient for me-- I am sure that I will still service my new auto at Bob Brown, and when the time comes in the future for another purchase, I am confident that Bob Brown will be at the top of my list for another automobile. By the way - I "love" my new Cruze - This is one great little automobile! More
