The only negative thing I can say so far is that when I went to pick up my newly pre-owned vehicle is that when I asked my salesman if it had a full tank of gas his response was "it should be close." I work with the public everyday all day long and to me his repsonse should have been "let me go check and fill it up for you." Other then that my overall experience as been great so far even working with the service department, they get your vehicle in quickly and get you out in a timely manner. More
We had a great experience when purchasing our new vehicle at Bob Brown Chevrolet. Our salesman, Eric Dowerah, was very low-pressure, which we appreciated as we were not sure if we were ready to buy a vehicl at Bob Brown Chevrolet. We test drove the vehicle three times and never felt like we "had" to buy from them. Eric answered all of our questions and helped us find the vehicle that was the right fit for us. As far as customer service goes after the sale, Eric made sure to give us his contact information so that we could contact him directly any time with questions. We appreciated also that they were willing to negotiate price and show us the options that made the most sense for us financially. They worked with us to get a payment that we could afford. We were first time customers at Bob Brown and if we are in the market for a Chevy vehicle in the future or know others that are, we would not hesitate to return or recommend the dealership. More
I have shopped and purchased new cars and trucks at other dealers over the last 30 years and have never had an experience like I had at Bob Brown's in Des Moines, Iowa. Jeff (Salesman) was great from the sta dealers over the last 30 years and have never had an experience like I had at Bob Brown's in Des Moines, Iowa. Jeff (Salesman) was great from the start. He greated me and did not try to show me what I didn't want, he listened to what I wanted and was very informitive about my car. Dave ( I assume he quotes trade-ins) was a very pleasant and a breath of fresh air. I have to say in the many years I have been car shopping, this is the first time I have ever gotten to meet the individual who quotes the trade-ins. He explained what and how he came to the price they wanted to give me for my Nissan...(I knew what it was worth from Edmonds for it's Trade-In value) he gave me more then Edmonds had quoted on the web site. He explained to me that they are in the business to sell cars and he wanted to make my experince a good one and be fair to me as well as he wanted to see me leave the lot in my Equinox...and he did. Tony (Finance) was as nice as the others. He was very sensitive to my needs and wants as far as payments as well as the down payment. HE WORKED WITH ME AND FOR ME...I will be sending everyone I know to Bob Brown from now on. This was the best car buying experience I have ever had. I live in Newton, Iowa and drove the 30 miles to Bob Brown...I would drive further. I have shopped at Karl's Chevrolet in the past as well as Nobel in Newton, I will not be returning to these dealers. They should take a page out of the Bob Brown play book on how to treat customers. Doug was a terrific listener & believed the car was malfunctioning even though no one else had seen it in the act. The cashiers were a perfect finishing touch to a very positive experience. I like seeing people happy to be at work but not overly happy that you are needing their help. Thanks for making an unhappy moment feel like a "glad it happened here" experience. My Equinox has "lots of extras" and Eric took the time to make me feel comfortable with everything. I should say "lots of extras" took lots of time. Having felt very appreciated by my Saturn experience, I am happy to say that Bob Brown is a great next step. Joe Koebke assisted me in the Saturn journey and was also a great reason for my focus on Bob Brown. He guided me to Eric knowing he would have the patience to deal with my unusual requests. I already know the service will be outstanding due to an issue with my Saturn and the amazing service Darrin Brown provided. Nice to find customer service, respect, and a quality product in this day of questionable products and services. Thank you Eric, Joe, and Darrin. More

I was looking for a clean late model Suburban on line in March and visited your site. Megin answered all my questions in a timely manner and always asked if i needed anything else.
