Review of A/C problems My visit on 8-9-18 for oil change and tire rotation was fine. While waiting for my car I reviewed all the work done on my car since purchase 5-13-10. My visit on 8-9-18 for oil change and tire rotation was fine. While waiting for my car I reviewed all the work done on my car since purchase 5-13-10. I have spent $8,713.25 during that time which included new tires, steering gear replacement, air conditioner work and various other servicing, all done at Bob Brown. What stands out is the cost of air conditioner work. $4121.62 was spent on A/C and it would have been more by probably $1000 except it was so soon after previous servicing that there was no charge. The last cost was $1959.77 on 5-7-18. I am hoping that this is the last time because if it fails again, I will be done with Bob Brown GMC Buick. Regular servicing has been fine, A/C not. More
Speedy oil change! Have a 2005 Suburban Z71 and needed an oil change! I had made an appointment and was there right on time! Another dealer told me it would take 1 hour Have a 2005 Suburban Z71 and needed an oil change! I had made an appointment and was there right on time! Another dealer told me it would take 1 hour to get the oil changed BUT from the time I pulled into Bob Brown's till I pulled out was only 41 minutes! I would say 20 minutes for the oil change 5 minutes for the wash and 10 to 12 to pay the bill and I was on my way! Good service is here at Bob Brown's in Ankeny! Keep up the good work guys! More

Dave Page in the service department was great to work with. We had a very negative experience with another dealer in town and sought out Bob Brown to help us repair our car before we headed out of town with. We had a very negative experience with another dealer in town and sought out Bob Brown to help us repair our car before we headed out of town for a family trip. He was able to get our Enclave in right away, set me up with a rental and had our car done almost a day earlier than he had promised! He has definitely won our business for service to our Buick. Even though it is a little bit of a drive it is certainly worth it! More
I was on my way home to Minneapolis, Friday, June 3rd from an 8 day fishing trip in Southern Iowa. I was pulling my boat and was anxious to get home. It was approx 12:30 PM when my 2002 GMC Sonoma star from an 8 day fishing trip in Southern Iowa. I was pulling my boat and was anxious to get home. It was approx 12:30 PM when my 2002 GMC Sonoma started to run hot and over heat. My brother was following me in another truck. I pulled off at the Bob Brown Dealership exit and made a phone call to your service department. I talked to Alex and he said bring her in. I pulled into the drive through where Alex and crew checked it out and let me know my radiator had went bad. I was told to park my boat in the back of the dealership and bring the truck back and they will get me in right away. Alex said it would be around 2-2 1/2 hours so my brother and I went across the street and had some lunch. We came back to the dealership waiting room and only sat for a short time when Alex came in and let me know it was all done. SWEET!!! It only took a little over an hour and a half. What could have been a very long and bad situation turned out awesome. Thanks to the outstanding service team you have I was able to get home at a decent hour and end my trip on a good note.
