Everything was smooth from Mr. Pinkston sellin salesperson, if you were buying the most expensive car or cheapest on the lot, you were treated equal. I came in to purchase a 2012 Chevy Cruze on September 1st. The salesman brought it around for a test drive. While driving i asked about the AC not blowing cold and was told it just needed to be charged, 1st. The salesman brought it around for a test drive. While driving i asked about the AC not blowing cold and was told it just needed to be charged, understandable with it being a 2012. It had a check engine light on I asked about a scanner to see what codes it was throwing and I was told its the catalytic converter (no big deal, my dad can fix that). Talking to the salesman before making the decision and was assured the car was fine, just needed an ac charge and the catalytic converter fixed. So I went back to finance to sign paperwork and pay for the car. We got all of that done, I get back outside and there are 3 salesman with the hood up and a battery charger connected. I said so what does it have a bad battery, and my salesman said no, if it does that again, send me a text and we will see what we can do, everything is fine. Everything is absolutely NOT fine. I took it to auto zone to have them check the battery, it was bad I text and called the salesman and can't get a response. Within an hour of buying this car I had to buy a battery. Also, the check engine light was not the catalytic converter, it was the radiator relay and a malfunction with the manifold. The next morning I'm driving to my mechanic to have the ac charged, it starts raining, and the windows are fogging, I turn of the blower, and try to turn on the windshield wipers, they won't turn on, the switch is changing the headlights. Talk about unsafe! I finally get it to the mechanic, we turn everything off then try the windshield wipers and they come on. Turn the blower on and lose the wipers. Mechanic starts the process of charging the ac, both the lower and upper pressure are sitting at 90 psi, which should never be a thing, and indicates an extremely expensive repair. He tested the power to the compressor and as soon as he touched the compressor with the probe, the windshield wipers came on by themselves. So now it appears there is a very serious issue with the wiring and electrical of this car. If you disconnect the compressor, the windshield wipers go on high and you can't turn them off, plug it back in they stop. If the blower is off and the car is parked, the windshield wipers will turn on, turn on the blower, and you lose the wipers completely. God only knows what else is wrong with it.what happened to everything is fine, its a good car? Yall took advantage of the situation. You outright lied and failed to disclose any of this, and took all the money a single mom had for a car and sold her nothing but expensive problems. "As is" is done in good faith and full disclosure, it does not mean lie and hide things just to line your pockets, and it does not mean sell a single mom a car you know has all these issues, and isn't comfortable and ISNT SAFE for her child to be in. You should be ashamed of yourselves! More
