Worst experience ever! Worst experience I have ever had with any dealership. I had an appointment to bring my car in for service as it sounded like a bucket of bolts. I also requested a rental as I needed to leave the car. I was told it wouldn't be a problem and they'd take care of it when I got there. As soon as I pulled the car in they had me turn it off as it sounded bad. The guy even said it sounded like lifters. The service rep that handled my order was pleasant enough. After setting up the car for service we moved on to the rental. I was under the impression Enterprise would provide that. I was informed I needed a major charge car for the transaction. Problem is I don't have a major charge card. I've been a loyal customer of Bob Johnson Chevy for at least the last 10 years. This is our 3rd vehicle purchased. My wife and I are familiar faces up there. I was told repeatedly without a major card we were out of luck renting a vehicle. I was then offered a shuttle home. That wasn't going to work as my wife had to work the next day. I told him I wasn't leaving without a vehicle. At that Point Chris Codd got involved. He asked me to wait in the waiting room and he would attempt to come up with a solution. After waiting another10 minutes he then came out and sat down to talk. He told me the only thing they would do is hold the whole deductible and that it was 1000.00 dollars. I was absolutely floored but had to say ok. He then told me he would send my service rep back with the paperwork to the cashier. The kid asked for my card and ran the transaction. While doing so my service rep read him off the number. Then the rep said " no, no stop " as he read off the wrong number. They told me it wasn't a problem and they would do a return. He did. I then told the kid you do know that money won't go directly back to my account instantly and might take 3 or 4 days. He said yes, but to get a (LOANER) he'd have to run it again after he did the return the 2nd time the service rep read him the right number and another 1000.00 was withdrawn for my checking account. At that time my account was down 2000.00 dollars. It took 3 days for the first 1000.00 (from the first return) to go back into my checking. I only needed the car overnight. I received a call the next day and was asked how much oil I added to the car. It barely touched the dip stick. I put in one quart. That's it! We just had the car in for an oil change in January so the whole thing seemed odd. The lifters made so much noise I thought the engine was going to blow. I then received a call later telling me the car had 4 extra quarts of oil in it. Whoever did that oil change must have screwed up BIG TIME. Later I got a call saying the car was ready to be picked up and they replaced the alternator. They usually don't go at 38000 miles so that sounded odd. The problem did not sound like a typical alternator problem. I asked about the oil and was told they drained it all out and refilled it and the car was good. I did come back up to get the car but at this point didn't feel good about it! I told them how I felt and that I would NEVER come back to Bob Johnson Chevy again!!! I then went to the cashier to pay my 108.00 deductible and left. This was Friday night 2-23-18 around 6:00 - 6:30. I turned left out of the parking lot straight to another dealer and traded the car in! I still have not gotten my other 1000.00 back and called Chris Codd on it yesterday. He told me he didn't know what happened and that he was going to have the transactions looked at for the day. I'M SUPER PISSED OFF AT YOU PEOPLE! I have been through the run around but this time I put a stop to it. I also found out the real story why Enterprise doesn't do business with Bob Johnson. Basically, you tapped me for 2000.00 on a dealer loaner over night! Still looking for my money before I go to my bank to file a complaint! Remember... It's MY MONEY! Done.... UPDATE: After another 3-4 days they told me they had to look into the matter of the second 1000.00 with the accounting department. The next day I was told to come back in and they would issue me a return. 2 days after that my money was back in my account. This is totally not the way to please a 10 years customer! Cars gone and so am I. More

Call ahead and you will be in and out. I always have my service work performed on my vehicles here and if you call ahead you will get excellent service. Slow service and they stole from me They had my car for a week, horrible organization, and they stole from me. I finally got it back and my prescription sunglasses and a bluetooth receiver were stolen out of my vehicle. I will never go to them again! More
Service Center I had my car towed to this place because the first shop I took the car to couldnt figure out what was wrong I was contacted by chris codd i told him e I had my car towed to this place because the first shop I took the car to couldnt figure out what was wrong I was contacted by chris codd i told him exactly what was going on my gas gauge and rpm was jumping back and forth as we spoke over the phone he insist that he would fix the car the estimate he gave was a lil too much so he wouldnt start perfoming work on the car until i told him it was ok. So i said ok He then tells me the car is ready i go to pick up the car and the same problem is still occuring here i am a month later still trying to fux the problem and the service director robert scott never picks up the phone or return calls this is the worse dealership in rochester ny. Should be taken out of business. More
Cannot even begin to tell you how bad of a service experience we had with the entire service department. I have been buying cars from this place for 15 years, and my family has for way longer. Last Year I purchased 2 vehicles from this dealer. One of the vehicles was a used silverado pickup it was a 2002 so it was 9 years old when purchased. Less than a year later I bought it in for service and the repair bills were costly. I did have an extended warranty but out of pocket expenses were high.After talking to my sales associate,used car manager and service personnel I felt issues were not getting resolved. A sales associate advised me to talk to either the General Manager or the Owner. After talking to the right person, which was the General Manager my issue were resolved. The General Manager and owner do not want unhappy customers and are more than willing to right any wrongs. They went out of their way to resolve this issue. I will recommend and buy from this dealer. Before writing a bad review talk to the right people and I am confident they will make your experience a good one. More

I would like to mention the particular mechanic who is the reason I choose Bob Johnson to service both my vehicles and that is Dave Secash. I am not sure if the mechanics ever get recognition since they do not directly have contact with the customers. His work is meticulous nothing less than perfect and I never have any doubt that my car will not be fixed correctly or that he will never know the solution to the fix. More
