I'm sorry that you felt that service did not care about you as that is not truth and we are disappointed that is how you felt. We do everything we can to take care of our customers but it is not always in our power.

I believe diagnosing (or confirming a diagnosis) without a $100 fee should be within your power. I'm not saying the repair should be free but looking under the hood for a good customer who is very, very close to " out of warranty" is just good business, Maybe the service tech couldn't authorize but I would hope the management team would have enough discretion to at the very least, take a look. No one would even diagnose without an upfront $100 diagnostic fee. Next year 2 of my 4 leases are up. Too bad. I really liked my sales guy.
