I had asked for a quote to get my passenger side rearview mirror fixed. Only the glass was broken. When I got the quote, I was quoted over $800 and told the whole unit needed to be replaced. I questioned tha mirror fixed. Only the glass was broken. When I got the quote, I was quoted over $800 and told the whole unit needed to be replaced. I questioned that because it was only the class that was broken. I was told oh no the whole unit needs to be replaced. When I called to schedule the repair. I was asked if I needed the whole unit or just the glass. I said just the glass. When I brought the car in for repair, they fixed just the glass as I had originally asked for. The cost of that was a pair was $275. Why was I told the entire unit needed to be fixed at a price of over $800? I really feel like they were trying to take advantage of me and I really don’t appreciate that. I will think twice before bringing my vehicle back in for any maintenance or repairs because I feel there are dishonest business practices taking place. . More
