Overall Good Car Buying Experience We had done our research and were ready to buy a Mazda CX-5. The first salesman who helped us (don’t recall his name) was very unenthusiastic - monotone approach, no passion, no smiles, etc. We got the impression that he was a nice and capable guy who was just not well suited to sell cars. Thankfully, when we returned later in the day he had gone home and we were helped by William. He was helpful and effective and Kenny, his manager, was also pleasant and helpful. We are enjoying our new car. More

Overall a good experience My salesman Bryn was great, we had a great test drive, he was informed about the pros/cons of the 2019 Mazda3 (which is saying something since the mod My salesman Bryn was great, we had a great test drive, he was informed about the pros/cons of the 2019 Mazda3 (which is saying something since the model was brand new and we were test driving the first one delivered to the dealership) compared to other vehicles in that class. Was responsive to my request regarding preferred interior color/design and explained why the interior design that I wanted was no longer available (not his or Penkus' fault at all). Only downside was that it took over an hour to get the car washed/ready to go once the sale was complete so I spent a while just sitting around at the dealership and wasn't able to get my car to drive away until after 8 pm. More

Left several messages on different items and didn’t get timely responses. Salesmen might need to be more diligent and check messages more often initially with the purchase and paperwork...maybe the first 10 days. Overall good experience! More

Service department needs improvement Set up an appointment to have 4 tires replaced and an alignment. at Initial greeting by the service rep, there was no mention that it might take up t Set up an appointment to have 4 tires replaced and an alignment. at Initial greeting by the service rep, there was no mention that it might take up to 3 hours to complete. Based on other service providers, assumed an hour or two at most....decided to stay and wait. At the two hour point, I had to search out the rep to find out the status, "got it in a bit late due to other car service". At the 3 hour point, I had to search out the rep..."almost done, need to do the paperwork". At the 4 hour point, still working on paperwork. Finally after 4 hours and 45 minutes and three different reps working on the paperwork, we were able to leave. Apparently the excuses were that other cars delayed ours (then why make an appointment) and due to the current sale on tires, they didn't know how to put the invoice together. The work was done okay, even though the wheels had more than just normal street grease on them, which required me to clean then later. I called around to three other service providers...Discount tire - 1 hour for 4 tires and alignment. Big-O - 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours in and out, same service. John Senter tires - 2 hours at most - same service. Penkus service department - 3 hours advertised - almost 5 hours reality. Also, picked up a part - the wheel hub insert - plastic, Penkus price $36, VW online - $12.00.......so my question, would you recommend any of this? More
