Gurnee Hyundai is the best! The entire team at Gurnee Hyundai was wonderful. I worked with Akira, Tom, Roger, Vasyl, and Benjamin. And each and every one of them were fantastic! I had been jumping from dealer to dealer and was exhausted with the car buying experience. When I went to Gurnee Hyundai I was not happy to see another dealer, but once I spoke with Roger, Vasyl, and Benjamin I was over the moon with the experience I was having. It is exactly what I wanted in a first car buying experience. The manager Akira is so professional and so helpful. Tom, the finance manager, had such a great attitude and stayed later so he could help us. In fact, each of the men listed above stayed to help us until everything was complete. Talk about customer service! Roger introduced me to everyone at the dealership who could assist me, and worked with me to get exactly what I wanted. One of the reasons I went with Gurnee Hyundai was specifically because of how knowledgeable he was about my car. There were several features in the car that I had not seen at any of the other dealerships. Made a great offer near MSRP at $4910 under on a $73,150 vehicle, which was already 1 model year old. Offered straight up lease agreement terms as defined by Hyundai Motor Finance's own lease term website calculator, and a generous 24-window for them to get back to me. It doesn't get any easier than this. But no call back, not even just to say, "We can't do that." No message, text or email. Nothing. Well, they made that decision easy. Plenty of other players out there delighted to make sales. More

Horrible experience from day 1 to day 1095 My experience from with Gurnee Hyundai ( Bob Rohrman) was horrible from the moment I signed my lease. I had my brother as a co-signer and they ended u My experience from with Gurnee Hyundai ( Bob Rohrman) was horrible from the moment I signed my lease. I had my brother as a co-signer and they ended up putting the lease under his name and refused to change it. The General Manager was rude and unhelpful. When my lease ended and I went to turn the vehicle in, the new General Manager John Kokkalis was even more rude and unhelpful. He came off as snobby and arrogant. The sales manager Akira Shibata, who reluctantly helped process my lease return didn't even try and sell me a new car, solid business plan I'm sure Bob Rohrman would approve of. Steer clear of this place unless you enjoy being treated like trash. More
