I had purchased a 2022 Ford Bronco Sport Badlands on Long Island in late April. After driving it for a couple of days, my wife and I decided we didn't want to keep it. Our local dealers were offering in the Island in late April. After driving it for a couple of days, my wife and I decided we didn't want to keep it. Our local dealers were offering in the neighborhood of $37K, even though it could easily sell used for mid-40's. Carvana had offered $40K. I had listed my vehicle on autotrader.com and was contacted by Zoe Alexander, in vehicle acquisitions for Bob Ruth Ford, offering me either $39K or $40K. A week later, Zoe called again and told me that the market for this vehicle improved and she offered me $41,500 for the truck. The title arrived and I called Zoe to seal the deal. The there men who drove to Long Island from PA to inspect and pick up my Bronco Sport were pleasant and professional. The cashier's check from the credit union that they gave me cleared without incident. I watched their website and saw that they had listed the Bronco for $44,000. Within a day or two, the listing was taken down. Zoe confirmed for me that it had sold for $44,000. While other dealers were looking to hit a home run by lowballing me on their offers, Zoe offered me a fair amount for my vehicle and was satisfied knowing that they could turn it over quickly for a $2500 profit.
