I am local to Bob Ruth and wanted to keep everything simple. Started my sale online (covid and all), and was pressured for a credit check. When i asked about the truck i was interested in they it was av simple. Started my sale online (covid and all), and was pressured for a credit check. When i asked about the truck i was interested in they it was available. They said this 3 times to me during my texting and phone conversation. I set up a time to come to the dealership inspect the vehicle. 15mins out i get a call from Dave Talton, I do not drive a talk on the phone, and i was on my way anyways. I get there and he tells me truck sold sorry. After filling out credit app. and him telling me he would have the truck ready to go when I got there. He then proceeds to have me stand in the lot for 30mins while "he checks to see if there was something available." With ALL the time i had available, i scanned the QR codes with my phone. ALL of them on every sigle truck in the lot. I then proceed to walk to my truck and still no Dave Talton? I leave to take my business elsewhere and I would recommend you do as well. I get a text, A freaking text, are you kidding me? That he had one that might fit my criteria. Mind you this was a half hour after i already left the dealership. I was ready to sign the papers for a truck. Cash in hand. All i can say is let that vehicle slip away from you and buy it some where else. There are so many other dealership out there. Give your business to someone who wants it and respects you a customer, who is going to spend a lot of money on a vehicle. And remember it's not just a vehicle your buying and a relationship and service. More
