It took forever as the balancing machine at the RAM location was out of service so they had to take the tires over to thier Nissan location to balance. Upon driving 15 miles home I had to pull over due to vibration. I discovered that the lug nuts on the front two tires were about to fall off. I know and do retorque them after 20-50 miles, but it was obvious this had only been finger tightened. To top it off the balancing work they had done did more harm than good as I had a slight wobble at high speed that I didn't have before. The dealers response to my problems was, were are sorry, give us a call in a week or two when our machine is back. More

Very poor experience I had with the Dodge Briggs dealership in Lawrence this week. Had called ahead day before and they knew I was coming before I drove 4 hou experience I had with the Dodge Briggs dealership in Lawrence this week. Had called ahead day before and they knew I was coming before I drove 4 hours to look at used minivan they had on their lot for month and a half. I arrived and they had the van in shop and tore apart because a broken handle they knew about. When told they would have it fixed within the half hour-four hours later I see them pull a used handle off another van and I finally get to test drive it. The "car-shower" was very nice and honest with me, but the manager Mike Wright showed very poor professionalism. He lied multiple times to me over the phone prior to showing up and while I was their at his dealership. I even heard him making comments that he did not want me or my business. After being at his dealership for four hours and no business was discussed we finally talked price on the van and three minutes in I already made a second offer and they did not make a counter offer so I just left. That manager Mike Wright was very unprofessional and dishonest...not at all what I expected out of a big dealership in a big city. Guess it is too much to expert when I go to a dealership that I get honesty and non-salvaged parts being used on cars they sell. If we are looking for that we would look to buy from a person for a lot cheaper price. We didn't buy the van from them, and I would much rather make a good honest deal somewhere else. More

This dealership doesn't understand anything about common sense or customer service. My salesman was fine, just your average car salesman, but the manager was - to my interpretation - rude and pretentious. I've never been high balled so high in my entire life on trying to buy a car, and directly from the manager at that. Of course he was unwilling to budge and seemed to care less about my business. I explained what a different dealership offered (say $10 for conversation sake), and explained what I could financially handle for the right vehicle (say $12). This dealership's counter offer was literally double of the other dealership I visited, and 75% more than I could physically afford. We discussed their offer briefly, and with no counter offer presented, I left. I will never return and if I had the money, I would pay for billboards to be but up across the country telling people to never shop at this dealership. Last thing, no mention of incentives (which I know Chrysler/Dodge/Ram is currently running nationwide) were given pertaining to my status as a current member of the U.S. military and as a current college student. I have had nothing but problems with this dealership. First I saw a 2009 Jeep Patriot on the Briggs website. There is a local dealership here in town that is affiliated with Briggs so I called and spoke to Matt. I explained to him that I was interested in that Jeep and asked him if they would be able to go to Lawrence and bring the Jeep to me so I could have my mechanic check it out. He said yes, he would call the manager in Lawrence to get it worked out. Later that evening Matt called me back to let me know that the Jeep was available for sale as Briggs was using it in a March giveaway. Even later that night Victor, the manager for Briggs, Lawrence called and left me a message regarding the same thing. When I called Victor back the next morning he told me that someone had just traded in a 2009 White Jeep Patriot but that they had to run it through their used car inspection. He told me that he would get back to me after that had been done. Several days later I received an email from Katie Poff, one of their internet staff and explained to her what Victor had told me about the white Jeep. She knew nothing about it, said that she would check it out & get back to me. I asked her how much they were asking for the Jeep, she said she would have to find that out also. She set up an appointment for them to bring the Jeep to me for a test drive & also so my mechanic to check it out. I emailed her back, asking again how much they were asking for the Jeep. I never received a response. After my mechanic checked it out he said that it had an oil leak but he couldn't tell where it was coming from unless he had several days to run dye through it and see where it leak out. After my test drive, a salesman by the name of James called me to ask me about the Jeep. I told him I was interested but that I had several concerns. I told him my mechanic found an oil leak. James blew that concern off by saying their mechanics probably just spilled some when they did the oil change. My mechanic told me to find out why the Jeep had been traded in. I asked James this & he says he thinks it was traded in because the people wanted a bigger SUV. I asked him how much did they want for the Jeep beings that it has an oil leak & many dents in the sides where the silver metal was showing through the paint. He told me he would have to find out how much the Jeep was. I asked him if they would be willing to go down on the price since the oil leak could be very costly to fix. He said absolutely no. I will never again even look at Briggs for another vehicle. They are not customer friendly, they do not go out of their way to try to offer the best deal on a vehicle, they were not willing to look into the oil leak the Jeep had. This is the WORST dealership. I tell everyone I know and even people I don't know to never go through Briggs to get a vehicle. More
