Service is Worthless! My wife an I bought a 2015 Tiguan (to the tune of $31,000) in June of 2015. As of today, 9-8-15, they have had this car for 3 weeks, plus an addition My wife an I bought a 2015 Tiguan (to the tune of $31,000) in June of 2015. As of today, 9-8-15, they have had this car for 3 weeks, plus an additional 9 hours we spent in their waiting room, as they did nothing but "look" at our car's radio/backup camera display, which sometimes doesn't come on as it should. I understand that from a mechanics point of view, intermittent problems like this are a nightmare to fix. And had this been a $20k Kia, I would expect them to not do anything because they can't duplicate the problem. However, when you pay the extra money for that "German engineering" you would expect them to at least change something. After talking to other VW Techs online, I even made a suggestion as to what to change, however they have obsessed on duplicating the problem again ( I say 'again' because they saw it fail once in their service bay. As soon as the mechanic removed and reinstalled the radio, it started working again). They had us in their waiting room for 9 hours on 3 occasions, during which time they replaced the radio, which unfortunately did not fix the problem. Since then they've had the car for a total of 3 weeks on two occasions (the first of which we were told we'd have a loaner but it never materialized. The second time we did get a nice little Passat.), during which time they changed nothing. Ok, they did wash it but I can guarantee that is not going to fix this problem. I know that 'throwing parts' at a problem is not the best option. However, when there is no other option, that's exactly what you have to do. Or you can just blow the customer off with some B.S., tech tip about the display not coming on right away. I think in this situation, 'right away' means 30 seconds or less (I have yet to actually see this tech tip but I'm fairly certain it is not going to apply to our situation). When our display fails to come on, in most cases it comes back within 5 - 10 minutes of driving, although it has been for as many as 5 starts. Their treatment of this problem is nothing short of ludicrous. You can bet that this will be my last VW and I'll certainly never deal with Bommarito again. While everyone at Bommarito was great to us, their service department should be renamed "Car Wash Department." John Carbonniere More

Warranty Scam artist all the way. Do not trust these people. Would not use warranty to fix a/c problem, they just would rather wait till warranty is expired to Scam artist all the way. Dylan was extremely helpful in my decision making process when picking out my VW Jetta. He was able to answer all of my questions and was mindful when I told him how much I wanted to spend on my monthly paym when picking out my VW Jetta. I stopped at Bommarito Volkswagen on my way back to Kansas City after the holidays. I was very interested in a 2013 GTI I viewed online because the price was about 4K lower than the same car in KC. He took me on a test drive and even though I did not have my trade with me worked with the Pre-Owned team to get me a sight-unseen best guess on a valuation of my trade to make sure it was worth my while to return with the trade. I received a follow-up call from Dylan the same afternoon as well as one the next morning asking what time I would be making the trip from KC so he could have the paperwork started and have the car detailed and ready for delivery since I would be making a return trip the same day. When I arrived at the dealer with my trade the value came in about where I expected--a fair price based on having the values I received in KC--and we were able to work the deal out. For better or worse--I'm a compulsive car buyer. This purchase was 5th in the past 6 years (3rd new) and was among one of the better experiences I've had. Buying (especially trading) a car between 2 different cities could have been a nightmarish experience. I grew up in St.Louis proper and did not have the best impression of Bommarito prior to this experience. The low price got me in the door but it was the thoughtful followup drew me back across the state the next morning. The careful and attentive service I received from the Volkwagen team and specifically from Dylan made the process as painless as possible and has converted my perception of Bommarito from one of relative indifference to a place I would send a friend. More
They told me the O2 Sensor was bad and replaced it for $440, but wrote MAF Sensor on my receipt. I don't know one sensor from the next so I thought it was another term for O2 Sensor. When the OS2 sensor went bad just 2 weeks later, they wanted to charge me $750 to fix it! Needless to say, they just lost a good customer. More
