I have purchased 8 vehicles over the past 3 decades. My experience with Bomnin Chevrolet was by far the absolute worst experience I have ever had purchasing a vehicle. The only exception to this was Ahmed experience with Bomnin Chevrolet was by far the absolute worst experience I have ever had purchasing a vehicle. The only exception to this was Ahmed Assaad and his supervisor (don't remember his name) from the finance department. They both treated me and my husband with kindness, patience, and respect. I cannot say the same about the sales department staff. I have never been spoken to so rudely before by sales people. E.g. John Grundy, the sales manager, asked me "so do you want to buy the vehicle or not?" when I was asking questions about financing the truck. I have never been made to feel like a dealership could care less if I purchased a vehicle from them or not. The only reason that I did not walk out, after feeling so insulted by John's attitude toward us, is that we drove over 120 miles to the dealership and my husband really wanted the truck. Even when we went to pick up the truck, we were met with a "we don't care if you buy the truck or not" attitude. There were marks by the rear view mirror and when I stated they were not there when we first looked at the truck, I was told by Charme Brinkley, our sales person, that the marks could have been there or not when we first looked and the truck was an "as is" sale. When I asked what product(s) was used to remove a film that was on the windshield that my husband wanted removed as well as to clean the window, again I was given attitude. I wanted to know what was used so I would have an idea what I might use to try to get the marks off myself. Again, I was asked, this time by Charme, "are you going to still buy the truck, or not?" I thought to myself "really?" All I wanted to know was what products/chemicals were used on the truck. Furthermore, no effort was made by Charme to tell us about or show us the various features or functions on the truck. And she told my husband the wrong truck tire size when my husband called to inquire before we picked up the truck. We do not think that she even bothered to look as she told him 18 and they were clearly marked 20. Right before we left, she actually had the audacity to ask us to please give her a 10 on the survey that we would be sent about our experience with the sale because if she got less than a 10, she would be "dinged." Both my husband and I just looked at each other in disbelief. Bottom line there is no way that we would refer anyone we know to Charme or Bomnin Chevrolet after the horrible experience that we had there. We just pray that the truck is everything that we hope it to be and that it will last us a long time. More
