Overall a great dealership. Borgman, in my experience, always looks to make things right. The buying experience was top notch, quick and efficient. Trading in a vehicle is rarely a fun experience, and I can’t really say it better at Borgman, but it’s by far not the worst I’ve ever dealt with. So in short, if all you are doing is buying a vehicle, Borgman Ford is definitely a solid choice. More
We purchased a manual Honda Fit in Febrary 2021. It looked like decent vehicle when purchased. Initially, it took almost a month to get the title because it was coming from out of state. We were told that there was a 3 month warranty with the purchase. It turned out that it was only a power train warranty. The air conditioning stopped working a few weeks after the purchase. This was not included in the warranty. The spark plugs were so tight in there, that a Honda dealership would not touch it. Borgman Ford charged us to replace them. Then the clutch went out within a day of the warranty completion. They didn't pay for this, either. When we purchased the vehicle, we were told that there were new tires on it. The tires kept on losing air, so we had them checked out. Apparently, only two new tires were purchased, leaving two 8 year old tires. We have to get brand new tires all around. So, a $8,000 vehicle became a $16,000 vehicle. We should get something back from our expenses. We feel that they should check out their vehicles before being sold. We thought that we were buying from a reputable dealer. But, we will never buy from them again! More
Over all great experience bought a 2016 Ram 1500.It had a problem with it that they thought they had taken care of I called my salesman Jim VanLierop he told me to bring it in they gave me a very nice loaner problem with it that they thought they had taken care of I called my salesman Jim VanLierop he told me to bring it in they gave me a very nice loaner.It took a couple days to fix it but everyone was really helpful.Frank Hayes their Finance Director got me a great rate on my loan.When Jim was sick Laura was there to help me its nice to see people working as a team.I would highly recommend Borgman Ford !!! Paid car loan off early They Had the life ins. rebate sent to them. I called the Ins Co it was through, and they said they had to send it to them. they thought that was strange. That ins Co called me to sent to them. I called the Ins Co it was through, and they said they had to send it to them. they thought that was strange. That ins Co called me to see if I ever did get it. I did after 3 months of many calls and they kept part of the rebate I had coming. Like a handling fee. They got the check in a matter of 4 weeks. The ins company said all ins pmts go to them first. I paid other cars loans off early and the check came to me in the mail from the ins company I bought it from. It was not the salesman's fault it was above him. He just wondered with me. I've had other problems with the service dept. also, but it doesn't matter because they did fix it, but I had to force it and waste my time on apptments More
Truly horrible service. I was supposed to be picked up by them at 7:30 am. They came at 8:20 after I called to find out where they were. Once there i found my car covered in snow and ice.
