Dear Bob, My name is Samantha and I work at Arnell Auto Group, I receive and respond to all of our dealer rater emails as they come in. I was handed your information in hopes to try and resolve this issue with the Corvette. On 9/29/10 at 3:42p Hilary emailed you about putting a deposit down to hold the Corvette. -You declined- On 9/29/10 at 3:48p Hilary called you to just double check on wanting to make a deposit. -you declined- Making a deposit ensures that your vehicle will be here when you arrive. We cannot base anything on some one's word. Coming from such a distance poses a threat because there is such a time gap where people can come in and purchase any vehicle they please. If there was a deposit we wouldn't even give them that option of wanting to purchase said vehicle. That specific day your sales rep worked the night shift and was not able to contact to you when the Corvette sold that morning. We are sorry that we weren't able to meet your purchasing needs but we did everything in our power to make the transaction go as you planned. Our dealership has specific rules on holding vehicles. Not all dealerships are alike, we made it very clear that we cannot hold the Corvette with out a deposit. If you have any questions please contact me anytime.
