Dear Dave Let me explain our side: After the car was shipped to you we did get a phone call explaining the middle trim part that is on the lower side of the bumper had a small crack. Even though this could have happened during lowering the car from transport, we did promise you to make it easier will take responsibility and help you to fix it. You did visit couple of bodyshops and then sent a invoice for $2000, which wasn't just to replace the trim part but rather replace the whole bumper cover with a new one. We contacted you and together we found a part online that we thought it would fit and then you had the information confirmed with your local bodyshop which you mentioned you have done lot of business fixing your other project cars ( you are well more informed than any regular car buyer as you do fix cars on the side). As a result we agreed that will send you a check for $1400 to settle this matter. A check for $1400 was mailed to you, the check was cashed few days later. We are extremely honest in our business doings but we will not take pressure and threats of getting bad reviews by customers who are looking to take advantage of our honesty. We ship at least 45 cars a month to out of state customer's just like yourself, who purchase cars site unseen and take our word and our accurate explanation of any damages, if any at all, before shipping the car. This is the way of future in our industry and we take it extremely seriously to make sure our customers are totally satisfied after receiving their luxury car. For what its worth I must also say this is the first 1 star review we have ever received from an out of state customer in 14 years of doing business.

You did not send me a check for $1400, you sent me a check for $1200. Either way, it falls well short of the more than $2000 it cost me to fix this issue. You promised me in writing that you would fix the issue, and you still have not made good on that promise. Additionally, no amount of "honesty" in business dealings excuses the fact that you have not answered the phone or corresponded with me in any way since being informed that the aftermarket bumper didn't fit, with the sole exception of this website. I have not threatened you in any way, and I think the "pressure" I have put on you by merely asking you to respond and make good on your promises is more than reasonable. You still owe me over $900. If you really are an honest business, you'll be contacting me shortly to discuss payment.

Dear Dave, If we are taking the time to answer you here we would do so if you had contacted in any other way. If you like us to pay more than we have already paid you, please bring the car here for us to check at this point because obviously the shop you have visited is not doing their job right.

I had three different phone numbers for you guys, all of which worked just fine right up until you found out the aftermarket bumper cover didn't fit. Since then, none have worked at all. I think trying three different ways is plenty of effort on my part. If you want me to bring the car from Maryland all the way up to Boston so you can take a look at it yourself, I'll be happy to so long as you pay my mileage, tolls, payroll for the days of work I would have to miss, hotel costs, and the $900+ you already owe me since looking at it yourself won't change the fact that I already paid for the correct bumper cover. Blaming the shop for not doing their job is hilarious, especially since you recommended a shop to me and then when you didn't like their estimate asked me to find one myself instead. You need to pay me for the rest of the costs you assured me in writing you would cover. If you would like me to forward you the final bill from the body shop for your records just let me know what email address you'd like me to send it to and I will, but no amount of back and forth on a review website is going to change the fact that you owe me the money.
