I made an appointment to have my timing belt and water pump changed. I was quoted a price of $511 to have the job done. They charged me $550 and the water pump was never replaced. I made an appointment fo pump changed. I was quoted a price of $511 to have the job done. They charged me $550 and the water pump was never replaced. I made an appointment for Monday morning and dropped the car off on Sunday night. I was assured the job would be completed Monday afternoon. It was completed Wednesday afternoon. By the time I brought the car home, the water pump was leaking antifreeze... and Volvo said the water pump never needed to be replaced. To make this story a little worse, my fiance dropped me off to pick up the car. As he was leaving, one of their incompetent, overly obese worker stood behind my fiance as he was backing up and accused him of littering Dunkin Donuts in the parking lot. He told him that he was going to call the cops on him if he didn't pick it up.. False accusations and make you feel like trash. These people treat you like you are at the bottom of the barrel. More
Boston Volvo Village is the largest volume dealer in eastern Massachusetts. They have by far the largest inventory of new Volvos. It is a great place to go if you want to buy a car right off the lot, do eastern Massachusetts. They have by far the largest inventory of new Volvos. It is a great place to go if you want to buy a car right off the lot, do not want to wait two months to special order a car from a smaller dealership with more limited inventory, or are under time constraints to obtain a Volvo ASAP. My initial experience with this dealership was a very positive one. I drew a charming, polite, Irishman who was generous with his time and allowed me to test drive several cars on my own without tagging along, a rarity in this day and age. I was about to special order a Volvo from him when I got a phone call from an obnoxious, argumentative sales manager trying to nail down the sale. He cost his dealership not only that sale but three subsequent ones as well. I now go there only to eyeball color choices, but I order my Volvos elsewhere. More
