RE: I was contacted by Mr. Shoemaker concerned about the complaint I had. When I met up with him he assured me they would correct the problem and handle everything very professionally. Mr. Shoemaker went well beyond the call of duty when it came to handle this problem and so did the service tech who did the work. Everything he agreed to take care of they did plus some. I was lied to about the work and damage was done to the body. I took it in for the driver side door hinge to be replaced. Ben informed me the driver side finder needed adjusting also. I asked him what would that cost and he said it was already built into the est. I said ok. On Wednesday the following week I stopped by and asked them were they going to be able to finish it and was informed yes. That evening around four thirty or five I was told they were just bring it in to work on. So much for that.The next day around one or so I was contacted and told it was all ready. Upon looking at it I noticed the fender was never touched or adjusted and had to listen to more excuses. When I arrived at home the next day I decided to wash it. I noticed that paint was chipped off on the passenger side of the car and they had run over something that scratched the lower half of the car. I missed that when I picked it up. But I showed Ben that there were only three areas that had scratches and rubs on the new paint job. I also noticed I now have a door ding on the drivers side door. When I picked it up it was parked close to other cars. One was a total wreck and the other was junk. That l gave me a warm feeling all over. As far as I am concerned I should have taken pictures of the car all the way around it and also got everything they agreed to do in black and white. But in this day and time you shouldn't have to do this for a simple repair. The car sits kind of low to the ground and if you notice when you leave their lot and enter RT 17 there is a large dip with loads of marks where cars have rubbed across the drive way. I didn't go that way but went the other way on the side road . They either damaged it entering RT 17 or in there shop. More
When I brought my vehicle in for service at the main store my vehicle was in and out in under an hour! 3 Month old F150 with a dead battery three times. I hoped to be able to wait on it while serviced but was told by AL that this was not possible. I purchased my vehicle from Bowditch in 2004 and have been getting it serviced there since. Very friendly department. Al is great. He recomends what needs to be done and what can wait. I bought a new 2011 Fusion from Mr. Truman and I have had this same vehicle serviced at Bowditch Ford for 3 oil changes with 1-tire rotation. At my age, I can pretty much handle a simple oil change but becau this same vehicle serviced at Bowditch Ford for 3 oil changes with 1-tire rotation. At my age, I can pretty much handle a simple oil change but because I was soo impressed with the first visit at the Bowditch Service center, I actually look foward to my next visit! The oil change they provide has an impressive check-list that they do, they changed the oil, oil- filter and their checklist all within a 45 minute timeframe! while I waited they provide fresh coffee mess, the waiting room is always clean and welcoming. All I have to do is sit and relax on their nice sofa set! Their cashiers/receptionist are very friendly and professional, what more can i say? Customer Service is so hard to find these days and because I feel like I am family their, its worth every penny. I am very satisfied with each visit and I even recommend to my "Chevy" Friends to stop by there for a visit. I am very happy I have found a dealership like Bowditch Ford. Thank You.
