Received an email about available inventory on an F-150 lightning. Called the dealership to make sure one was available. Scheduled a time to see the truck, was greeted by Ron when I arrived. Looking at Explorers and hadn't quite figured out what we wanted. Ron Olson was patient and explained lots of the details and differences. I ordered a 2023 Ford Maverick hybrid through Fords website, and chose Bowen Scarff Ford as the dealership I will be purchasing the Maverick through. My salesman Sawyer Scarff, had excellent communication and great knowledge of the whole ordering process. After nearly 19 months of waiting for my Maverick, it finally arrived and I was scheduled to pick it up. As promised, Bowen Scarff honored their price protection and sold the truck to me at MSRP, and gave me a fair (not great) value on my trade in. My wife and bought our first car here about a month ago, we were looking to buy the bigger Bronco but couldn't find anything that wasn't marked up like crazy in a 100 mile radius of Seattle, so we opted for we were looking to buy the bigger Bronco but couldn't find anything that wasn't marked up like crazy in a 100 mile radius of Seattle, so we opted for the Bronco Sport Badlands instead. Ford showed a $1000 discount on the website for the model and color we liked, we called ahead and Ron at Bowen Scarff confirmed that was the actual price, no markups. When we got there we were greeted by Sawyer (Ron was out for the day) who took us on a test drive, answered all our questions and gave us all the time we needed to consider our options both for financing and for any other extras. We had considered to finance with Ford because they had some promotional interest rates ongoing (2.9$ for 36 months, 3.9% for 48, etc.) but were not shown these rates originally when talking about our options. Maybe it's common practice not to mention the promos from the get go or maybe the the person we were talking to didn't know about them at the time. In any case, when we mentioned we saw better rates in the website, Sawyer immediately went to the finance department and got us an updated sheet with the promotional rates, for which we ended up choosing the 3.9% option as it better aligned with our current budget. Once we were ready to buy we were taken to the sales manager office were offered a bunch of extras we could add to the car, but were never pressured to add any, which we liked a lot. We chose to keep only 2 things out of like 9 or so: the lifetime extended warranty for the car's electronics and the 6-year service plan, as they both made sense for us. We paid and got the car read to go no more than an hour after that. I'd say were there about 3.5 hours there total, but it never felt like people were dragging their feet or we were being worn down by them trying to get us to go along with something we did not want to. In all honesty, based on all the things you see online, you'd expect dealerships to be more predatory, but that was not the case at all here. All in all, we had a great experience and hope keep in touch with the folks here, they have a good crew :) More
