First and foremost, I grew up as a Chevy Guy.  I've been looking for months.  It was such a hassle, dealing with countless trucks and its flaky owners/dealerships, and over-priced trucks claiming to be "mec looking for months.  It was such a hassle, dealing with countless trucks and its flaky owners/dealerships, and over-priced trucks claiming to be "mechanically sound".  I was only looking at certain brands, and I surely wasn't looking at Fords, being a Chevy fan.  But I decided to be open to other brands and when I did, I stumbled upon a hidden gem:  Ford 150, older truck, low miles like new but used.  Found it online on the Bowenscarff's dealer site (in Kent). Within an hour Chris Kelly responded to my request.  I was impressed with the fast response, whereas other dealerships took 2 days, and some a week even after making an offer.  Chris responded to my emails quickly, He was thorough and direct.  Because of this, I went to the dealership to test drive.  Chris met me outside immediately.  Chris was great, he had a good handshake and polite.  He was direct, no BS, and easy to talk with.  I took the truck for a spin and immediately fell in love - a Chevy Guy falling in love with a Ford truck?  This can't be happening. I told Chris I needed to think about this overnight.  Chris understood and I didn't have a "make a decision right then or there or I would lose the deal" kind of feeling.  Even after I left the dealership, he continually answered all my questions and didn't dance around it.  On the day of purchase, he still exceeded my expectations.  He even stayed late for us as we had to work later than expected.  He answered all my texts quickly.  He worked with me on the price.  Paperwork was easy and 30 minutes later, I was driving my FORD truck home.  Fast forward to 3 weeks later and I'm at the parts counter getting a bulb for plate, all of sudden someone is tapping me on shoulder asking me how I'm doing?  Chris Kelly! The fact he noticed and recognized me was cool weeks later and shows he pays attention to his customers! Also the parts counter guys were awesome and found a part, I needed that the other local ford dealer didn't even bother to help me with. Long story short:  Chris Kelly is great!  BowenScarrf Dealership in Kent is awesome!  My Ford 150 is amazing!  Chris Kelly deserves a raise!  Thanks Chris Kelly for making my truck shopping experience a great one and believe me, we'll recommend you to others and when I'm ready to buy a newer Ford Truck, I'll think of you....and this is coming from a Chevy fan.
