Paid cash but still had to deal with the finance department and they were the same. Very quick and easy to deal with. No high pressure to buy extra warranties, etc. I highly recommend Bowen-Scarff and Chris Kelly made the whole process very easy! More
No knowledge about featurers the used car they were selling. I drove over an hour to look at this car. The salesman was nice enough and did come in on his day off but he had little knowledge of the car's featur I drove over an hour to look at this car. The salesman was nice enough and did come in on his day off but he had little knowledge of the car's features. He couldn't pull up the headrests or the back seats. He also told me on the phone that the car had a remote start (it didn't). We talked about the oil light being on (at 20% life) and he said that it probably needed to be re-set but told me that the oil had been changed. When I agreed to purchase it he sent the car to the shop to have it readied for release/sale. When I got home the oil light came back on, the next day it said 15%. When I called him he said I could drive it back up to him (over an hour one-way) to have it reset - then told me his manager would change the oil (again?). I felt that should have been taken care of prior to finalizing the papers and assumed it was when he sent it to be "readied". The salesman only put in under a half tank of gas for the test drive and didn't top it off when the purchase was being completed. I felt that was pretty cheap for a "5-star" dealership. I won't be returning. More

This last purchase was as incredible as the first one in 1995. Obviously, it is a part of their culture of doing business. Daniel Montgomery contacted me first with an idea I might like.The long and short of it was I liked the idea and traded my 2014 Ford C-Max Hybrid in for a 2015 Ford C-Max Energy . The most unusual car purchase ever. I took some time to consider my review because I wanted to make sure that I was off the emotional feelings of the day and just sit back and reconsider I took some time to consider my review because I wanted to make sure that I was off the emotional feelings of the day and just sit back and reconsider what happened. It all started with a text message from Caitlin asking if I would allow her to text me. I liked that. Then we discussed the vehicle I wanted, back and forth.. confirmed the price, the down payment, etc. Ok. This is a good start. Now I live 200 miles away from the dealer, so I was not too excited to make that trip and then be jacked around once I arrived....We agreed I would come the next day. Fast forward... I am 2 hours out and I get a text from Chris Kelly saying.. Caitlin had a family emergency and was out that day but he would be very happy to meet me and ensure I was taken care of... I am thinking.. brother, let the games begin... We've all seen this before.. grrrr... Well, I am HAPPY to say that nothing could have been more surprising when I arrived... Chris met me immediately.. took me to the vehicle... asked me if I wanted to test drive it.... I'm like WHOA... let's confirm the price and the down payment. He said yes... the price and down are confirmed and your financing is arranged. Huh? Where is the game? Chris then informed me that Scarff-Ford doesn't do business like that. They focus on making the customer happy and satisfied. They want the customer to be returning some day. They don't get paid commission but only on reviews. Wow. This was a major mind shift for me. I dread even going to auto dealers because of my prior experiences, but Chris Kelly was amazing. The whole experience was such a positive for me. It was a beautiful NW day, my beautiful dream car was waiting for me..... and the BEST part... I had 200 miles of open road to drive my new Pony.... he he.... If you want no hassle and a great buying experience.... Scarff Ford Lincoln in Kent.... you won't be sorry! More
