I went to this dealership after working on my vehicle for awhile. I also sent an email to their service manager explaining the issue. The problem is that instead of the diagnostic service requested, I reciev awhile. I also sent an email to their service manager explaining the issue. The problem is that instead of the diagnostic service requested, I recieved free safety inspections and little if any diagnostic. I was told the new part I replaced was bad. The old part exhibited the same issue. After research online I was advised that the solution offered was that of an inexperienced tech. In fact on diagnosing this issue various other small components and sensors should be tested first. I also found that the diagnoses offered faild to resolve the initial issue. Online you can note that some techs actually would replace this part at a rate of $735 until the cows come home and it rarely if ever resolves the issue. In addition to the lack of diagnostic work performed I was advised that I needed approximately $800 more in maintenance. In other words I paid $70 to have them diagnose a problem and they told me I needed to give them $1800 more. I have been in this business before an I know better. I also purchased a vehicle at this site. The trunk leaks, always has even after they repaired it in the body shop. I would avoud this dealership as I have found that it is more in the business of gathering your funding and less in the business of customer service. More

We were able to do a deal over email and text message and get my payments for what we wanted. Everything was ready to go when we got there and the paperwork with Tom was a breeze. The absolute worst customer service of any dealership I've ever been to! Went looking to buy a mustang GT on Saturday of all days! first I walked the lot for 20 min waiting for someone to greet me and he I've ever been to! Finally walked inside and three guys basically sat at there desks and staired at me talking back an forth! Finally went Into the office and asked if someone could help me!! They made it seem like it was a drag to help me!! Treated me like I was wasting there time! Finally asked if I Could test drive one and the guy said he was really busy I'd have to wait! Could tell they thought I wasn't There to buy! Finally got sick of it and just left! That day I bought a 2011 Shelby mustang GT from Pierre Ford in lake city!! Miles of difference in customer service! They are amazing and respect u the second u pull on the lot!! Well never let anyone I know buy from a bowen scarff dealership! And I'm in the army so I well post it at ft Lewis too!! I was an easy deal that day but they assumed I wasn't!! Dot recommend anyone ever go here! They are horrible and i don't know how They sell any cars!! DONT WASTE UR TIME OR MONEY THERE! They well only give u time of day if u walk in flashing cash I guess!! Although we were very pleased with our sales man Ricker we are very dissatisfied with your cashier. Who wouldn't take a check for $5.000 dollars because the check book looked new. So Chad went to the bank and withdrew the $5.000 cash brought it back then the cashier proceeded to complain about having to count the cash. I'm pretty sure there is a lot of people out there right now who would better serve your company and make your customers who come in with $18.700 cash more welcome. I will informed all my family and friends to never come to your location and about how poorly my husband was treated. I will recommended the shop for there new or used car some where else. I only hope for your future customers they do not feel bad when they leave your lot with a new car.. Shannon Dawley More

My Shelby Mustang is the latest purchase and have now bought 4 cars from Bowen Scarff and have had excellent help with Dan Forward each time. This is the only dealership that I have ever seen full disclosure on the deal at the desk and NO endless trips to the managers. I wish that my wife will NOT want another car from another make so I do not have to make another trip to the dark side at the Jeep dealer again ! More
I checked out Bowen Scarff on-line, I saw a F-150 4x4 I was interested in and applied for credit on-line. That same day the salesman called and asked me if I'd like to come down and test drive my new truck was interested in and applied for credit on-line. I did, I was also approved as of walking in the front door, the truck was freshly washed and parked out front waiting for me. The salesman was freindly and not pushy at all, he let us have our space but was still close by for questions which we had from time to time. after the test drive we decided to buy the truck, they gave us a very fair offer on my trade-in, the payment I wanted, and the 'paperwork' was easy and painless. I saw three people from the time we got there, the salesman to see the truck, the sales manager to sign papers, and the person that showed us some upgrades and options that we might want on the truck. we walked out the other door got into our new truck and drove off. A few days later they called and needed an additional form signed, I told them that i didnt get off work untill late and the sales manager said he would wait for me even after they had closed. I had a coupon for a free oil change and car wash waiting for me just for the inconveinience of runnigdown there after work. The price of the truck was the best part of the deal, i checked other dealers and the various 'blue books' and my truck was priced below assesed value. More

Some car dealers try to pressure you to do credit checks on your background or send out several sales people to haggle over the car's price. The staff of Bowen Scarff are there to assist you in car purchasing without the pressure. Their website allowed me to look at all their options to find the right car to fit my family's needs. The service dept has always answered my questions and explained any costs to me up front when working on our previous cars. I have been going to the Bowen Scarff dealership in Kent for 20 years. The staff and service has always been first class. The internet advisor Brian Camp and top salesman Dan Forward have always been very helpful and knowledgeable in their respective fields. I've never met a finer team. Also the quick lane area and service department are top notch. Buying a car here with the no dicker sticker is another fantastic feature. Complete opposite of the average dealership that sends out ambush parties when you drive on their lot. There aren't many sure things in life, but at least I don't have to worry about where to buy a car! Can't wait for next summers' car show at the dealership, always a great day.
