I have had mixed experiences with service here, depending on the associate. Most recently, I brought my car in for state inspection. I marked on my appointment that I wanted to be notified before any work wa on the associate. Most recently, I brought my car in for state inspection. I apparently had a bulb out in my headlight, and they replaced it without first informing me and allowing me to make the decision. While a bulb is not a huge deal, when I asked why I was not notified, I was told that I shouldn’t care about something that small. When I said that regardless of expense, I always want to be notified first, I was told that they did indeed call me. I had my phone on me the whole time my car was being serviced, and there is no missed call in my call log. The associate then immediately went on to say they would make a note to call me first for anything in the future, since they did not for such a “small deal.” I did not appreciate being directly lied to, and this is just one example of many similar situations. It makes me question whether there was a bulb burnt out in the first place, as this same associate said the same when I was getting an inspection before…and I change the bulbs myself when they burn out. I went in for an inspection and oil change and told the representative that I needed to be out quickly as I had an elderly parent at home and could not wait for hours. She got the car in and out within 45 representative that I needed to be out quickly as I had an elderly parent at home and could not wait for hours. She got the car in and out within 45 minutes! She was amazing and and the service is always great! Good crew in the Subaru Service Department! More
I have long trusted Bowser for the quality of their service. I know that everything they do is needed and will be done correctly. Following my 2024 inspection, I was advised that my Subaru Legacy wou service. I know that everything they do is needed and will be done correctly. Following my 2024 inspection, I was advised that my Subaru Legacy would need service on the brakes in the near future. During my recent inspection I was told my brakes look fine and didn't need work. I assume that this was because I don't drive the car much and the brakes didn't wear as much as expected. I finished the inspection with only the cost of the inspection and an oil change. In addition to the quality service, I like the fact that they don't do unnecessary work. More
The salesman was very efficient in completing our purchase. Even though he went over the features of this automobile there were too many things to remember, and I am looking forward to have a follow- purchase. My only complaint is with all the manuals that are supplied with this car. There are too many models included in the manuals and the some of the features are not included with my car. It would be a more meaningful manual if it was only for this model and then you could determine what features are applicable to your vehicle. More
